More explicitly, the minigames are not fully enabled in v21.0.0 and only a small part of the content has migrated from v0.20.16 (Stable Version) to v21.0.0 (Preview Version) - normal mode would be useless because you cannot increase Anon's stats and recap mode has nothing to recap for to start on new content. "Preview Mode" is cheat mode - start full stats and $10,000,000 in cash and in bank.

Of course, the Debbie revamp was meant to be done in 2 updates (4 months) total. So how accurate that estimate likely is, should be brought into question.

She may be my favourite character, but man it's just gotten silly. Shit, I don't even think he's finished drawing the Asian restaurant background yet. So that entire date sequence may not have made the cut. He got all hooked on drawing the back room for the boutique and a parody of the Great British Bake Off the last two weeks. I honestly don't know if this update is going to be more than a changing room scene and a couch scene. Maybe extensions of those preview sex scenes will be thrown in.

Not quite. But they did think they would be done within 6 months based upon their end of month update in September 2024.

Our update schedule is every 2 months. So we will try and include as much as we can within those two months. Hopefully we can fit most of it, but there may be additional content that needs to be included in the following update. Hard to predict as Debbie has a lot of content and we are adding so much more. It's a challenging update but we're excited to finally focus on mostly new content for you guys to enjoy.

This cycle we have been focused on upgrading Debbie's content, and we're now in a position to share with you the first five reworked quests.
Unfortunately, only these first five quests were stable enough for this bi-monthly release, which means a portion of the work we've done won't be seen this time around. We tried but needed maybe four more days and we made a commitment to release every two months.
It does give us a head-start on the next release cycle however, and work has already begun on multiple other Debbie quests. In the meantime we hope that this first glimpse of Debbie's new story will showcase the level of quality we intend to keep throughout the rest of her content.

But yes, we all should be keenly aware by now that Dark Cookie is completely terrible at estimation and should NEVER take his estimation as a gold standard. People should have figured that out by September of 2021... Many of us did.

And with that DC accomplished his goal of delaying the Tech Update for at least one more year! Let s not forget this dev concluded the main route on 2020! And só far we got only minor updates and a year and a half of no release at all !

The main story was finding out what happened with Anon's father and the resolution around that.

There are three goals in the game:

1. Find out what happened to Anon's father (finished)
2. Save for college, etc (finished)
3. Date for dance (not finished)

Hum that's weird but I guess I understand what they mean. But for me, the main story is finished when all three point are finished, so I've never seen it at 100% concluded, more at like 80%.

Then I recommend playing v0.20.16 with nearly all the content.
v21.0.0 will have an update within the next 4-5 days but it will have only a little bit of the content.

2 likely will be part of the Annie update, but that's been in the queue for years now and I've lost track if the "Tech Update" is even halfway to the finish line since it's been in development for 3 years now. Rhonda is supposedly the next content coming after the never-ending "Tech Update", but there likely are people who voted in the last content poll that are dead now since it's been so many years.
