so the girl you're talking about is annie (by the principals side) and eve (goth) they are not related in fact eve has an older sister and the sisters girlfriend

and it didn't stop adding content the dev just decided to focus more on the major tech update and then work on adding even more content after that, the full story is completed within the pre tech update it's just after the tech update more content is being planned to release

Only a "PREVIEW" option?? Am i doing something wrong? Is there a patreon code I have to input to unlock the Stable version??

The stable version you can download directly from the developer's website, it's v0.20.16. You can also download it from the links in first post in this thread. It is no longer being worked upon.

The preview version is the work-in-progress of the next update, the tech update, and is being slowly released with additional content and tweaks every 2 months. It's v21.0.0-wip.xxxx (currently wip.6440). It's going to be a very long time until it is has all the previous content migrated into it.

I played this game about six years ago, but I dropped it because the story was already at a dead end and we were just waiting for new updates. I know the dev ran into issues and decided to "rework" the game. But please tell me, does the game actually have a lot of new content now compared to six years ago, or is it still pretty limited because of that rework?

Depends on your definition/perspective of "a lot". I wouldn't worry too much, the game has been in development from when one of my kids was in middle school. Now that same kid has graduated college, gotten married, and now I have a grandson, and it's still nowhere near complete (10 or so years of development).

So, I'm sure if it takes too long for you, just make sure you keep your save file, so your offspring can pick up where you left off once they're old enough :HideThePain: Can even become a family heirloom of sorts.

Damn. Imagine in the future I give my last save file to my son on his 20th birthday and say, “Son, it’s your time to continue the journey and make me proud.”

well they released that update but I'm more than positive they are far behind on the roadmap they laid out last year. We've had an entire year waiting for this game to make it back to where it was and so far we got 3 new scenes and uhhh new engine? At least Debbie can get pregnant now i guess

So, the tech update doesn't really 'play' parts of the game like
building stats or working to make money. (unless there's a setting
in there to reset those parts)

Any idea on if/when(ish) those will be added back in?
I don't like 'cheats' where everything is already maxed out.
