Holy shit, I had a sudden nostalgia attack and thought, what was that game named again? summer something?.
The drama! wtf the game is basically at the same point I played it 3,5 / 4 years ago..... Is this his full time job? HOW?

Why are people still paying him ?_? you could have supported actual devs who make shit, and that appreciate all the supporters by giving hem some insight in their dev cycle...

Oh well, I'm sure I will have another nostalgia craving in a couple of years if i'm still alive.

Dev should pick up the pace.
Making this kind of game is becoming too easy with the help of AI art and ChatGPT.
Think about it. You can create your own art and story (including dialoges) with half the effort now.
Heck, even i am thinking about milking the patreon cow now.

I hope I'm right too, although I'm not the biggest fan of her new visual style she desperately needs updated art and could use some fluffing out when it comes to her quest. I highly doubt she's getting new scenes in the tech-update though unless DC surprises us.

And I think most of us are tired of the tech-update, just gotta hope that it at least comes out sometime this year, preferably sooner than later.
im definitely tired of t
i'm still waiting for Judith's story.
ive been waiting since you got what one interaction from her hope she gets more time on screen

I'm actually looking forward to seeing people's reaction to the tech update. The blueballing will be legendary.
I can just picture people ready to go to town followed up by absolute disappointment and a dead boner.

"wait...there's nothing new to fap to? this took almost 3 years?"
I am still subbed to this game. So I am contributing to the blue balls
at this point. But yeah its a shame how little content this dev is producing now.

Doing this stuff is not as easy as a lot of people think, You have to be creative, an artist, a coder, and a writer/storyteller. Go for it - waiting on your game.

Prior to Patreon allowing Devs to hide their sub count and total dollar per month take. Summertime Saga was taking down 50k a month. $600,000.00 US dollars a year. Three years of that is $1.8 million US.
Spare us the platitudes. This guy is milking this shit at this point.

Well, then, I'm sorry you're getting milked. Don't support him any more.
Most of the others probably don't read this forum, so you are just pissing in the wind.

The main problem is that the 'trigger' (main story is complete) for the game to be "Completed/Abandoned" (depending on your view they are mutually exclusive) are already in the game, which games in the past (other devs) have trailed a few updates off then the "Completed/Abandoned" tag hits it.
There are quite a few games that are "Completed" which are actually "Abandoned"
