Several people have signaled the need for a new INLIMBO state to be added to COMPLETED, ABANDONED & ONHOLD. SS is the poster child for this state but there were other famous projects that would've qualified (e.g. Milfy City).
DC sold the Tech Update as something that will take (quote is him on 03-Dec-2020): "(3 to 4 months) to complete".

Today we're a staggering 2 years, 4 months and 26 days past 01-Jul-2021 and not only was the Tech Update not delivered but DC doesn't even have a release date for this vaporware.
Since 2+ years is not enough, how many more years does this guy need to fail before his project is flagged as problematic on F95?
We need that INLIMBO tag and it needs to be slapped on projects that fail to deliver on quantifiable promises by, let's be generous and say, over 100%. So SS should've been flagged as INLIMBO sometime around 01-Oct-2021. And INLIMBO needs to stick until promises are either delivered on, explicitly replaced with something else that's quantifiable or, more often than not, the project becomes ABANDONED. Making INLIMBO sticky is important to mitigate devs who try to game F95's rules (e.g. ICSTOR simulated activity on Patreon until his project was eventually slapped with ABANDONED and DC does his own Weekend at Bernie's on Patreon, Picarto and pushing out side releases that have nothing to do with OG promises).
In case anyone is waiting for it, I assure you these people will NEVER just stand up and say "I'm incompetent" or "I'm a scammer" and that NEVER turns into NEVER EVER when there are literal millions of $ to be gained from just putting on a busy show.
