Hi there, I've just started this game to give it a go, but... I have a few questions
-How can I start training at the gym? I can't take the gym class with coach Bridget, she wants the MC to train first (just like the guy at the weight club in town).
-How, or rather where, can I find Diane? She's never at home and I have to ask her about the gardening job.
PS: I must be at the fourth week (time in the game, not irl)

Which version are you playing? If the newest most of that material has been taken out as they redo the code and re-format pic size.

Debbies route is long AF it ends at the half of the game im talking about all her SX scenes you need Diane route, Jenny route and like 4 more to at les end it, and to this point (4 scenes every 2 months) is going to take a lot of time, DC is not lazy nor stupid, he wont end any mid game route.

The solution is obvious: use another engine.

Another point is, the rework has been decided to keep fucking over the supporters of the game. They happily pay and the game hasn't had any development in a couple of years. Dark Cookie found a way to keep milking his supporters and they are stupid enough to fall for it.

HONESTLY. The game is nine years old now. It is being done with a simple engine that was never meant to support an adventure like this. I hope the dev finally figures out to move to a better engine. Realistically, it is going to be abandoned soon.

No. Where people got "better engine", I'll never know. There is nothing inherently wrong with RenPy for this.

What was problematic was all the code written into RenPy to make Summertime Saga. All the code they wrote was cobbled together through 2021 and was barely holding.

Are there aspects of Summertime Saga that RenPy wasn't necessarily made for? Sounds like it. But it was the Summertime Saga code that was always the problem, not RenPy.

It's like a house.... The foundation and the framework was fine. All the shit put on top of it was held together with bailing wire, spit, and duct tape. So it was decided to strip everything back to the studs and start again.

Yeah, I hear you and you deserve respect as well as refunding, IMHO; but I think you should give bad words a little more creativity and foremost write them down with no remorse because this is a raging pirate site and some of us are not english native, silicon-based aristocrat speakers (obviously I'm not trying to pointless trigger our beloved Count Morado ) and we enjoy so much a genuine display of anger in front of a clear lack of respect showed by the devS to their supporters. Dude, what is that word salad? Even if English is not a first language... there are still ways to effectively communicate. There are some great translation apps so that a person can type in the language which they are most comfortable and then translate into English. That said, people have to use proper structure and grammar of their chosen language in order for it to have the best chance of translation.
