This is the longest I haven't seen anyone asking why the game is abandoned.

It's not actually abandoned, as far as I know, it's still being worked on but this site has a rule that if a game doesn't get updated within 3 months then it gets the "Abandoned" tag.
The frequency of updates on this game nowadays is a whole other story tho, this "tech update" has just completely derailed it.

DarkCookie claimed that he was going to release an update at the end of this month if things go right.
He also said might be first week of June too so do not trust what he said , just trust what they do.

1) Why are you worrying about something that's gonna happen in 2 years at least? just take it as it comes.
2) How does he know what's going to happen in 2 years? the only answer he can give you is: "it would be nice".
3) It should be more than clear by now that they have no clue of what program planning is.
