To be fair, he announced the UI update right after the one before, just as he announced the coming Debbie update right after this one - both times before the month even ended, so anybody who doesn't agree could have stoped giving money. After all, it's up to DC to change his mind and it's up to his patrons to stop giving money.

There's really a lot to complain about, but this really pretty much as fair as it gets if you look at it somewhat objectively. Debbie's old art was - rightly so - the major complaint people had. DC/his team seem to have listened, he's fixing it and now people comlain that he didn't stick to his former schedule...

Because this is a RenPly game and outside of Debbie and Mia, whose story he has wanted to rework forever for whatever reason, none of this shit is remotely necessary and clearly used for padding. Right now the most insane padding ever where he plans on rereleasing the game he had made in pieces over the NEXT THREE YEARS.

Am I understanding correctly, that this tech update isn't a conversion of what we had in 20.16, but the content has to be re-done and a lot of it is incomplete? In other words the older version is closer to "completion" and if we want to be at the same stage now we need to wait for further updates? That's what it seems, going over the changelog. Sorry if this is all common knowledge, my search skills are probably lacking and there are just too many posts to go through... Or are the upcoming updates adding new content on top of what we already had?

Pretty much. It was mainly focused on the phone UI, that gave some written background on characters, as well as some full body images. If there was anything else, I didn't notice.

But it needs to be said that this was exactly what he stated the update was going to be.

I saw that next update is dedicated to Debbie. Hopefully it'll be more substantial as she's the only character due for an update that I care about.

DC says in the patreon post that Debbie will get that pregnancy route y'all been clamoring either in the next update or in the overflow of the rest of her content in the update after. #83,703
