Yeah, he started in 2022 with the "new tech update", here´s the summary;

Is trash.

DC is just milking the patrons, im quite sure it´s not easy to draw good quality pictures, but c´mon.... one pic every two weeks? it´s like he´s fapping while doing the stream, he´s taking too long, the main story is already over and we are only waiting for the update of the other characters, but all of sudden he´s saying "ooooh, we need another tech update, it´s not working", bro, there has been other programmers who looked at the game code and even the new tech is bad, here´s another yandere dev guy who loves free money.

Imo DC is getting scammed when it comes to programming. His main programmer/posers don't really do their job.. that or they're just bad at it. DC is just not competent enough to notice. Some of the features look nice, but in reality, nobody cared for them.. and implementing them first takes time from restoring storylines.. it really feels like it's being dragged out for prolonging the development. If DC is happy with whatever his programmers provide, why bother in doing stuff as efficient as possible?
That's me assuming that DC isn't prolonging this himself.. But it does look like his team is badly managed and just taking their time in doing things.. I mean, if your programmer is so slow it takes YEARS, why not replace him? I've heard about his programmer not wanting help because that would more difficult to code the game so he's going solo. Where's the logic in that? By that logic bigger indie games couldn't exist just because it would be difficult to code..

Here is my question: Were you happy with this game before he started reworking it? I know the answer, but I'm still asking. The only real reason he is doing this is to milk the patrons further. Just spend more time to essentially reach the same point in the game that he had already reached a long time back. This is why I respect NLT media even if I'm not the biggest fan of their sex scenes. They have a correct idea where they want the story to go and release updates according to a schedule. Even if I don't like genesis order, I respect their commitment
Edit: summertime saga was already popular even without any reworks. It's one of the most popular games out there. Meaning, the players like it for what it is. So this "fixing" is just stalling for time

I liked it. I mean it was a great story driven game. All I wanted was the finished stories of all characters. Don't know whose idea was to do this "tech update".. but it sure was stupid.. How about you complete the game, then.. and hear me out on this.. do summertime saga 2.. a prequel or sequel. That way you'd have a new story to play with, your "tech update" and no drama to play with..

And this is where the problem is: if the Dude wants to deliver a new character arc, well... the Dude has to work on it.

Didn't you realise that since 2018 the Dude has been making 99,99% of the game pics only while streaming?

Making Summertime saga 2 would solved all the problems,leaving the original shitty coding behind and making the new one with the new "tech".
Of course this is just a big WHAT IF,is too late now.
