I'd like to know if the developer is going to redo the entire story or if they're actually adding new content...
Because I finished the game and then a version called "TECH UPDATE" came out, which seemed more like a "remake."
And if they're going to redo the story of each character...
Let's suppose that every month they do the story of one character.
There are a total of 105 characters.
One year has 12 months. 105 divided by 12 = 8.7, so it would take them almost 9 years to put everything back together.
And only then continue the story?

I want someone to answer me if this is really what's happening.

no story is expected to be redone. It's supposed to be migrated - mostly same story with same content, but brought to date with the new code and display ratio, etc - read #5 of the General section of the FAQ below.

Debbie's artwork has been needing and update for years but was on hold until it won a poll ... Which it failed to do a couple of times. However. They decided to bring it up to date after seeing how it looked in the preview version. And that's what motivated them to decide to tackle it when they did.

It could be many years before the tech update has all the old content, yes. There has been talk about bringing in Rhonda's, Annie's, Judith's updates into the tech update instead of waiting until after... But we'll just have to see.

Until then, just sit back and enjoy the ride.

That's a lot of prognosticating of positive outcomes dealing with quite a few variables. Not just for the developer, but for yourself, as well.

I understand that this game is one of the best and one of the biggest, but this "migration" until all the content is migrated... I don't even have words to say how long it will take because, as I mentioned, there are 105 characters, and someone commented that in one year they added 2 characters.
I had guessed that in 9 years they would finish and put the whole story back and continue it (if they added 1 story per month).
But apparently, they are adding the story of 1 character every 6 months.
I don't even want to calculate how long this will take because just 9 years already frustrated me.
Imagine 50 years... many of us won't even be here anymore when the story is fully migrated.

My cousin introduced me to Summertime Saga. He passed away three years ago. So, it's safe to say the wait for the tech update has outlasted some of the game's fans.

So i used to really like this game, i've returned after maybe an year, and download the latest version, since i usually change eyes color of some characters in games for my preferences, i've extraceted the .rpa art and started the long process of recoloring, i've read there was some cut content and in fact in the files i saw that.
Anyway now i'm reading in the comments that the main story and majority of chars are not in the game right now, but their art and scene are, like Diane, Roxy, Eve etc.
The images, some are missing but the majority are there, so what i'm trying to understand is, are there in the current game the scenes with those characters in some way, or are in the files and not in the game?

They're probably just not accessible in game - there's no reason for him to do extra work to remove files that most people can't even see.
