In the short term, if no other funding model is considered reliable, he really has no choice but to continue putting up with their shit. I'd hope that this means rewriting the story just enough to sever familial connections without eliminating the encounters rather than scrapping any of the encounters themselves. We shall see...

DC literally stated that the things he is changing are only dialogues, there is no content cut.

- DC will cut current game's content? NO! he will only change the dialogues/names, something that can be recovered with a patch.
- But if mom is landlady and sis is tennant, it will makes sense? no! but who cares? we will have the old dialogs and names back with a patch.
- We will have more content with Mom, Sis and Aunt? probably not, but I would not be surprised if DC does incest content every month and adds it in a patch for the final version or if he finds an alternative to Patreon, in fact he was already making progress on the new sis update... I doubt he's going to undo all that hard work just because he can't add more incest for now.
People are angry because DC "kneels" before Patreon but think about it... at least the game is still alive, there is still hope, the incest in SS isn't dead yet, IMO.

correct me if I am wrong but don't you name the characters who live in the house? Can't you just put the name as mom or sis instead of the "names" that will be in place? just skim over the part about this is my "land lady/ foster mom/ nanny".

DC actually still can make content for women in the house, 'cause it will not against the guideline.
we know DC's team will clean up the codes, so maybe not only it will be save compatible, but modders will be easier to spot what can be change and not.

sorry for my ignorance but I read on the forum that if DC published SS on his site (summertimesaga.com) the original version of the game patreon would immediately close the account and the page on the site patreon, is that correct? but if DC would delete on the site of patreon the links that refer to its sites, patreon would still have power of veto? If that were the case it would be enough to put its own sites on the original version and on patreon the version requested by patreon ... apparently it's just a matter of dialogue and code and not making new renderings, is what I say correct?
