Between bending the knee to Patreon censorship instead of fully changing platforms, animating not being his main income anymore (as far as we know) and now being married, don't expect anything from Sum to reach NW or MBF's level. I was hoping that he would still make that even if it takes time, but Savior's release proved me wrong. Still, Sum could surprise us someday.

Nothing will be las brilliant like old school NW or MBF series, but time will tell, get rid the jelly bodies etc out of focus angles, maybe he will do bring something good again one day

Sum is making a remake of NW on Blender with new characters, no estimate on it though.
Aww, not like there aren't great Elizabeth models to choose from in blender, what a shame. Hope it's a bit more creative/ambitious if it's going to be a remake. Looking forward to seeing it released on christmas 2024 (delayed to Jan '25) Thanks for sharing the info. Big fan btw!

Here's the thing though. Sum never really did anything related to those characters in terms of story or cannon. He would even do stupid sh*t like rename them and place them into half baked stories of his own even though they were clearly porn models from video games. It would be like narration text of "Wendy loves cucking her boyfriend and fucking black guys behind his back" and I would be like bro that's clearly a Honoka model just call her Honoka. So I actually think the fact he's not doing that and is now modeling his own characters to be a step in the right direction and probably something he's always wanted to do but lacked the ability up until now.
Instead of making NW3 he goes to make a remake ?!! Wtf... i am having a difficult moments to understand how this guy is thinking
I somehow doubt that for several reasons.
- MK9 had Samus, a character that Sum doesn't want to use again 'cause Nintendo.
- Patreon doesn't like beast, notice how after having his page taken down, there hasn't been anything that uses that (there was a Red VII animation but it had Savior-like camera work).
- Every time a future project is talked about, there has never been a mention of MBF continuation or short from Sum. Of course, I can't check every comment related to this that Sum has answered.
