Speculation time on video length, 'cause I'm bored and I just saw this.

So in case you haven't seen it yet, Sum's update finally got posted on yiff. Apart from the gif there were 2 images that show not only Mila's model that is likely used in the project, but also Nyotengu's face model, which to me reveals who is the character dressed in a sort of business suit with stockings (check the previews).

Taking Mila into account that makes 6 characters apart from the shota in NW2:

- Honoka (referred to as GF, so Kurt's gf or maybe from someone else that will get cucked).
- Nyotengu (referred to as MILF, so maybe Honoka's mom given that they both share black hair in this project and Nyo has to be someone's mom).
- Lucy (seems to be getting a lot of scenes which annoys me a bit at this point but oh well).
- Sophia (I really liked Miya's model, so I'm glad she's getting more screentime).
- Hitomi (not sure how much she's gonna get, hoping that more than one scene).
- Mila (Don't think that she'll appear outside of story stills but it would be nice).

According to sum 1st image are all of the scenes (in some sfm saving format I guess) and the 2nd image are the ones that have to be voiced. Maybe NW2 will be longer than 30 min in the end, but Sum himself said that he might share an estimate on his next update.

Let's answer to the second question first, there is no video that would need updating. Not any that I remember

Now for the first question, if you feel you are able to do something with ren'py, please do. I would be very interested to see the results.

But if I can make a suggestion, if you do an interracial game, may I advise you to not do what most of developpers do about that genre. Which means put us in the shoes of a white guy being cucked by the alpha black guy, for once it would be refreshing to play as the black guy. I admit I am myself not a fan of playing a character being cucked, so I have a bias in that suggestion, but I think it is kind of shame that alot of the interracial game are mostly 2 ways.

1. There is the white guy that have sex with a woman of color (no problem with that, I love it . Diversity is absolutely welcome in adult games!)

2. And then there is the unavoidable white guy being a beta getting cucked by the black guy.

While playing as a non white male as been done before, in terms of interracial they are very few and far between. Now I love playing as white guys in most of my game, but for once, if the game is focus on Interracial, it would be a breath of fresh air to play as the equivalent of kurt in the NW universe instead of Elisabeth's husband.

And also be careful about the type of game you make. If it is your first game, a sandbox might require a lot of time and ressources while a linear game is much simpler and to the point. Suceeding at a sandbox is certainly more rewarding BUT it is much more coding and planning ahead if you want to make a good use of the formula. So be certain to have a plan before you start.
