He was good...really good with SFM, and showed some promise when he decided to move to Blender with the NW car remake. However it was short lived...

The stories became non-existent, cliche, and very one dimensional. The animations turned to nothing more than backshots and cowgirl poses, and the models lost that thing....that look...that character...that well was...

Maybe the New supporters just newbie that first look on with sum new account, Not the old account with sfm. I remember when i become a supporter like 2 month and after that i just stop it because is only focusing on the graphic not the story of the scene. It looks like a visual novel kind of gameplay right know.

Said it once and I'll say it again: ever since Patreon shut him down a couple of years ago, during the making of Savior I think, animating stopped being his main source of income (I'm not sure if it ever was though, but prior to this he was more active).

Sum hasn't dropped in quality (I think) but his pacing does not justify active support IMO. If anyone wants to support him, best thing to do is subscribe once when a project comes out, and then cancel the next month. I don't blame the man, at no point did he ever promise continuous releases and neither Patreon nor SubStar enforce them.

From what I understand...from someone else is that he got a job IRL as a 3D artist which is why he was trying to make this push into Blender. Unfortunately his grasp of the tool has not matured to a level where his content was when he using SFM.

Someone tell this gentleman to go back making SFM movies. His work with Liz in 'Fallout', 'Neighbours Wife' and others like 'Man's Best Friend' is perfect! Even today it's hard to find artists who do something similar to this.

Most of Sum Blender videos are horrible. I think the best ones I've seen are some of Tifa's and RE Girls.
