Oh, right. Bit of fan theory debunking I found out.

Another girl and I on Sunville's Itchio page were theorizing that the smaller breast size average of the female population in the setting was due to whatever caused the massive drop in the male population. Ya know, whatever caused males to become so rare also made medium-to-large breasts rarer to a lesser extent than males, right?

But Feierflei assured me that there was no lore reason for it. He just preferred small breasts. Which is fair. I mean, it's less interesting than a worldbuilding cause, but we don't kinkshame. Besides, author appeal is a huge part of porn creation. My own erotica is full of author appeal. XD

That doesn't make the theory debunked, just that it wasn't a planed reason. lol
Can still be headcanon, and possibly worked in later. ;)
There is always fanon too.

Evolution takes a while to kick in.
Just 10-15 generations are not enough.
Oh, it is, for small changes, but there have been changes in the timeline here that go back centuries or more, so almost anything (within reason) could have happened. Many major historical figures in this world were gender-bent. At least if Natsumi's events are to be believed (we know she has a few misconceptions, but no one disagrees with who existed, just what they said occasionally).

That's not entirely true, for the past century, humans in western Europe have seen their size increasing, and that's only in 3 generations. It's not a big change, but the average height definitely increased, the growth rate increased too, children reach their maximum height sooner.

And this change has been visible in my life alone. At the end of middle school, it was rare to see kids above 1m60, now it's common to see kids of the same age above 1m70.

Another interesting evolutionary trait, is the disappearance or atrophy of a tendon in the forearm. This one is recent too, and what makes it even more interesting is that it's happening all around the world at the same time, so it's not even due to ancestry genetics.

This one is probably part of the "extended genome" with respect to RNA and mRNA in the human genome. They had previously been able to track changes within that sub-genome linked to long-duration famine events in certain populations within the previous few generations.

So what's being witnessed in the developed world is likely to just be a result of the "messenger" portions of our genomes relaying that the relevant population doesn't historically have to worry about food scarcity, so "full speed ahead" on body development--which requires a lot of food.

The evolutionary advantage of slower development in environments where food scarcity is a major concern.

Of course, on the size side of things, there also is the whole nutritional balance to consider as well. China and Korea in particular have notable examples of this. An even bigger demonstrator is the contrast between present day South Koreans and their North Korean counterparts.

The South Koreans are not much smaller then the Americans these days. Their North Korean counterparts? They still adhere to the traditional sterotype of being small, and are now being dwarfed by their cousins to the south. So not really an "evolutionary change." Just a change in development outcomes triggered by better/broader availability of needed nutrition and in particular fewer cases of mal-nutrition going on.

I have a sudden urge to ask the waiter why there's biology in my porn...
