rather than the crowd cheering when you get knocked down, they'll cheer when your opponent gets knocked down instead (i think)
Ah, that could be it. I hadn't noticed the crowd cheering/boo'ing in response to who gets knocked down, so I was trying to watch for changes in the referees' reactions but they seemed to be the same.

Nobody cares to attempt a translation anymore. Just MTL gobbledygook that at best gives you a vague idea what the writer is trying to convey and at worst is complete nonsense.Does anyone fully translate his games anymore btw? I heard that the =Together= guy vanished and his patreon is locked. I really hope we can get a proper translation
Really is a shame because there is 0 appeal to me to playing these games without a real translation.

Yeah I feel that. One of my worst issues with the previous game is that the plot for all I know could of been good but I will never know due to translation, this means I can only rate the these games on the gameplay and because its a porn game its usually not enough to stand on its own.

I got that feel as well. I want this to be a W but maybe the MTL is throwing me off. The content seems all over the place like Excessm could not decide what was wanted out of the game. I hope it gets a full translation but I am also rather disappointed thus far.
The dev is weird. Why would you cut the roster down to so few when in past games having a big roster was a big part of the appeal. Why would you get rid of other activities and side content. Why would you make it so short compared to past games and with so few scenes that are also rather short. Why would you get rid of sex scenes that aren't game over/bad end related which most of the games had since Parade Buster. Why would you draw a ridiculous amount of handcuffs on a character only to never have that character use any of these cuffs to her advantage in a fight situation. And why the fuck would you not give a scene to the only enemy in the game who actually was granted a somewhat credible boxer physique? Boggles my mind really.
I honestly believe that the Excessm just wanted to create a game he enjoyed instead of one specifically for the fans, with the money just being an incentive.
Tbh, I feel like roster bloat is one of the downsides of his games - Lots of identical girls with little difference between them and sharing the same animations doesn't make a good cast. The smaller selection of girls in this game specifically gave me hope, but unfortunately despite there only being 9 of them, they still start to blur together pretty quick.
The refs imo are the best characters, but also the most under-utilized since most of their content just serves as lead-ins to scenes with the other girls. Ironically, even the "zako" fighters feel more interesting than some of the actual characters.

i found a super cheaty way to progress for using mouse: literally just dodge left and right as fast as you can, you take no damage and the chance meter fills up almost instantly, when it does do strong punch.
