Harper's sister is the cat. I've suspected that for a while and the reveal that the sister had a "Parlor Power" confirmed it for me.

Shapeshifting into a small fluffy animal definitely would not have made muster for the Hero Association.

Also I pretty sure it's the train girl. The Train Girl is the Cat and the Cat is Harper's sister.
I wholeheartedly agree I wasn't 100% sure until I remembered the dream after you take the cat to the academy, where she claims she's your "Good Girl" after you call the cat that and then proceeds to try to undermine the rest of the girls for thier "flaws".

Totally forgot about that scene. Great catch.

I've been quietly playing this game for a long time now, just never knew what to write here. But now i'm both up to date and glanced through this thread, so let me get this straight:

A cat is on an infiltration mission, the MC's super power is adaptive dick, the most anticipated waifu is the terminator and a porn game where one of the girl's legal name is "Softbottom" just set out to invoke shock, sadness, empathy and intrigue instead of just horny?

Damn, this is awesome.

Knight of Solace, will there be another version/update coming out at some point in the near future or is 1.052 where it's going to be for a while? Overall, I've enjoyed the game. However, there are some minor glitches in it but they aren't enough to disrupt game play. I would enjoy seeing some more interactions with the other girls and the possibility to search for and find Queen Unbreakable/Mrs. Elizabeth Powell

I don't want to put words in the dev's mouth but I will say that the release schedule has been fairly regular up to this point. The last update was fairly recent, and although the updates tend to be on the short side this is kind of a trade-off you have to accept to keep updates frequent. This is one of the games I look forward to the most.

My personal opinion is that I would rather have fewer updates with more content/less bugs than more updates that were buggy almost to the point of not being playable and less content.... and I fully understand that it can take more time than what many people believe for a given Dev to create the content for their games as well as code them and then check said code and content for errors and bugs before putting it out for people to enjoy. It's simply that "Superheroes Suck" is a game with great potential and Solace is doing a good job of staying consistent.... technical issues and circumstances notwithstanding (getting an improved graphics card for instance). I was simply curious if there was an update coming out fairly soon or if it would be a few months or so is all

You mention bugs/glitches, but don't mention what they are and when they happen. The only way they will be fixed is if he knows about them. So if you found things that are still in the game, then you should leave a message here about them.

The majority of what I noticed while playing the game was simple spelling and grammar errors in some of the dialogue and narrative texts. This leads me to believe that English isn't the first language for at least one person helping Solace with the game, if not Solace himself. I'm not in any way trying to put them down or disparage them. Just simple observations on my part. In fact, several of the games I've played recently have been done by dev teams who aren't native English speakers. I would simply recommend that, after they've finished with the texts of their game updates that they have it proofed by a native English speaker if possible to check for and correct any spelling or grammar errors as a way to improve the game.

The writing's a bit too good for the writers not to be native English speakers (or at least as fluent as a native English speaker). More likely just mistakes while pounding out a lot of text. I know I've had my share of brain farts when my mind starts racing ahead of my fingers.

I wasn't saying you were being disparaging. You mentioned bugs/glitches which are very different things than typos and grammar issues. I am 95% sure he is fluent in English and is some form of European. Being he uses the U in words that American English has dropped. I am pretty sure he also uses a grammar checker like Grammarly/Google docs, and has a few testers who double check. However if you know of and can point to the issues you mention he would gladly fix them in his next version.

How do you do, fellow native English speakers? It is I, Solace, developer of Superheroes Suck and also a fellow native English speaker.

I am the only writer / programmer / render-person for Superheroes Suck. There is no team behind me, and I couldn’t afford one anyway. I do three passes on the text in the game: a proofread after I’ve finished a whole conversation, a second one after using a grammar checker before putting it into the game, and a final one as the event plays in game. I then submit the early build version to a friend of mine who I affectionately refer to as an “Editor” as well as my early build patrons who then sort out the majority of things I’ve missed.

Spelling mistakes and incorrect grammar does still get through, for example because I forgot to remove the “r” from “your” when it needed to be “you” and it just slips passed, or maybe I genuinely want some of the girls to speak incorrectly as part of their inflection. When problems arise, I usually receive a message about it on F95zone, my Patreon inbox, or in my Discord server, where I fix the issue that day or explain why said issue will need to be looked at later on.

I release a new version of the game every six weeks. I actually also prefer a longer development time, but the six week development cycle has been a perfect balance of productivity as well as trust building with my audience. I’ve found, at least for my game, it’s not very reasonable to give an unknown developer ten dollars and then see the results three months later. I know that this means that the updates for Superheroes Suck are short, but if you were to wait for every other release on a psuedo three month schedule, you would find the amount of content you were looking for delivered in the time frame you desire.

I do work a full-time job, so between forty hours on that and forty-five-ish hours each week on Superheroes Suck, I don’t have a lot of time to be flexible with my scheduling and that does take a chunk out of some of the quality control. It’s also a big reason why I’m no longer as active on here as I used to be. My living situation has changed since the game began development and the bills are larger. If you have bugs to report, feel free to do it in a private message on F95zone, on my Patreon, or in the official discord. There are also people on this forum who will submit the bugs that are reported here.

That will be it for me, I’m off to render animations!

Given everything you've just said, it makes all the progress that has been made in the game so far even more impressive!!!! I do understand about not being able to devote as much time as would be preferred into a project such as this game. The respect I had for the game and yourself as a developer has increased significantly, and there was a very large amount to start with!! I wish you all the best in all your endeavors and hope your circumstance change to more positive directions!!! I'm in the process of creating a game myself.... I have the beginnings of a Team to work with (Friends and such who are willing to provide their skills simply so they can stay current and improve them... two have even refused offers of payment to be part of my Team) I'm excited to see which directions the game goes in through the next updates and versions!!!!!!

He tends to have 8-10 new events each update...plus the sandbox overhaul coming after the power reveal in July. Im one of the anal ah that replay the game from scratch every time beta comes out to help get rid of bugs. Everyone misses stuff but we bust our ass to get it good. 6 weeks is a good balance. If you want to bitch about amount of content and timing...thats all good as long as you're paying the man...if not....time to move on with the comments. If you're doing this for free and feel its not enough...just dl every other update....

So, took a bit, mostly due to computer problems about the beginning of this year, but got everyone in 1.052 saying I've completed all there was to complete, so caught back up with the Dev.
