i updated from 0.35 to new 0.40 continued my old save and hint says wait for next update for every girl please tell me i dont have to start from beginning
Pass a week, and the new events begin every sunday. No girl specific content or h content in this update. It was just about moving the story forward a bit every sunday for like, 4 or 5 sundays in a row.

Though i'll say, Harper doesn't charge me Confidence for quickies in the library anymore. Not sure if that was part of this update, or just something I hadn't unlocked yet.

Sidenote: I suspect Harper is Queen's daughter.

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage, because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

Changelog says Harper, Chrys, and Val all have repeatable h scenes. Presumably Chrys's is the kitchen handjob.

Harper has two actually. Bedroom BJs and Library Doggies.

I have found none for Val. Where/when is her repeatable?

In the bathroom, I believe in the afternoons on days you would study with Harper. (Harper has one in the bathroom too.)

That is the plan, yes, but I don't want to promise anything right now. Adding new interactable environments that render well in most lighting actually takes a lot of development time.

My current goals for version 0.45 are adding new events to the girls' stories, improving the render quality, and dramatically improving the H-scenes while also making new repeatable ones that are of better quality.

I like this game, but it would be nice to see a dick going into a vagina at some point. I mean, I get that sex is happening but we haven't seen actual insertion yet. I'd like this to be a porn game and not a late night cinemax game, I guess. Still good stuff so far.

I'm sorry it took so long to respond, but I wanted the animation to be finished (and not look like a horrifying monstrosity, I'm still very new to animating), before I got anyone's hopes up.

Because missing out on her would be a tragedy. Also I just wanted to say I enjoy the different personalities of the girls and I love how diverse they are. Really good game so far.

Yes, there is future content planned for Queen Unbreakable, but that will be very far in the story. Definitely after all of the new villains have been introduced. She's kind of an end-game objective, and being so near the end of the game I would love to have multiple endings for her route.

I would love to go back and rework some of the old content, but I wouldn't be able to do that any time soon. This is entirely because I lack the time to both rework the old content and make new content. There is a much larger demand right now for new events with the girls, more H-scenes, more main story developments, and more characters that I can't really go back and fix those issues. To improve them the way I would want to - it would take almost a whole development cycle of about six weeks. With that, I could update all of the old events and add new ones to smooth the transition from awkward flirting to full blown relationship. It does grate me too, because I replay the game each time I finish a new version and I can see all of those old renders, rushed storylines, and it's fairly embarrassing. On the other hand, that was the skill level I was at when I made them, so it's also gratifying to see how many people enjoy the newer content as I improve!

The best thing I can promise right now is that the new characters will have better arcs - some will take to the protagonist faster, some will be slower, but I'm hoping that all of their progression feels more natural.

Thanks for the response and I'm relieved you feel the same way. I do really notice the difference you mention from beginning of the game towards the latest update. I do totally agree that you have come a long way.

If you care to hear it, some advice from one of my developer friends was (this was to newer developers in general and not directed towards you in any way), "To not be afraid to go back redo stuff. I've seen a lot of games where the initial renders, the initial posing, the initial art is a complete and utter nightmare. There's clipping issues, there's lighting issues, all that kind of stuff. What you have to remember, when you're a new developer and you're trying to get people to like a game is the first few renders, the first few scenes in your game are going to be what people are going to see and they will judge you based on those. They're not going to wait and see, oh yeah, the developer has improved a lot in 5 updates later or all the art is really good. You have to make sure the beginning is what you're going to be capable of when you get to the end".

This is a developer (not going to say who right now) of multiple games, one of which is rather popular on this website with around 4 stars and 40 ratings. I will certainly go back and redo almost all of the earlier content of the game, but problem is at this current junction, the only time where I would be able to do that would be near or at the game's completion. That said, I did go back and redo the introduction to Superheroes Suck not too long ago, and I am endlessly thankful that one of those versions didn't make it on to the site. The original introduction was all of those things - terrible renders, bad writing, no animations: it really set a poor tone for the game that desperately needed to be addressed.

Once I'm done with the current development cycle, I'll probably put a poll out that includes redoing some of the old content - I'm already redoing the old animations after some feedback!

I try to keep my ego in check when making Superheroes Suck. I am very new to all of this: I had no experience in a relevant field when I started creating the game, with the exception of creative writing. Coding, Rendering, even basic game design were all new to me. So, I make an effort to keep an open-mind when I receive feedback, even if I don't understand it at first glance. For example, I had no idea how bad the original grind of the game was, and was shocked to hear that the majority of early complaints were against it! Of course, the reason I had no idea how bad the original grind was, was because I made save-game compatibility a priority early on. I never needed to play the game from scratch - I could just fast forward through all of the old content to get to the new bits to make sure nothing broke. After receiving all of that feedback, I started up a new save and did everything like a new player would: reading everything without skipping any text. It was awful. I was so embarrassed.

Ironically, the length of the original grind is how long it is supposed to take for those relationships to develop from flirting to something more. By cutting down the grind, now that sequence moves much faster than I intended, but I'd rather receive feedback saying that "the early game is fast" instead of "I spent two weeks training and there are no new events, what gives?" The best solution would be to go back and add new events to those early sections, and then hopefully re-render those old events to the higher quality I have now.

Many people on my Patreon page and on this forum have very good ideas on how to improve the game, and there are so many things I want to add: more thorough training sequences with the protagonist, better interactions during the lectures, branching story choices, and so on. The major limit I have on development is time - the vast majority of it taken up by my real job. The first Patrol, for example, took about a week and a half to develop. Since I work in six-seven week cycles, that's a massive chunk of time when people want each one of their favorite girls to get updates, new animations, and so on. If I branched it into multiple endings, I would have needed two weeks easily. This is something I could flesh out more thoroughly with a longer development between releases, but then again, I personally would have issues giving money to an unknown developer with little experience and no credibility (like myself) for three months without seeing the product!

All that said, working on Superheroes Suck is great fun and a great stress relief. The game improves every week: better animations, higher quality renders, and better character designs. I use all of the feedback that I can implement: even if the feedback is, "the game has no visual vagina sex." After that, I went through all of my animations and - Damnit, they were right! Now there will be an animation like that in Version 0.45. Or feedback that I can at least try to implement; I had no idea how to even do a hint system until I sat down at two in the morning and just rolled my face across the keyboard until it worked out. It's a great experience, even if it sometimes doesn't love you as much as you love it.

First scene in library with Harper dont has animation for me. I mean i saw animation for BJ but we dont animation for sex? And i dont has animation for Chyrs either. We dont has animations for thoose scenes or this is bug i have here maybe?
