It'll certainly become one, to a point, but I disagree about his "healing factor". It's not there yet, and he's also nowhere near as durable as Wolvie. I still think his superpower is actually enhanced evolution ala Superman so he's eventually going to get to the point where he can shrug off bullets and lightning and whatever, but for now I suspect a 9mm to the noggin will still prove to be pretty lethal.
I tend to agree that the armor has outlived its usefulness, especially now that it has been gutted and stuffed with insulation. Moreover, MC deserves a costume of his own and not the mothballed hand-me-downs of a dead guy. I always thought his wearing it was kinda morbid after hearing its backstory. It should be in a glass case in a museum or the Batcave or something, not chilling in a garage next to the car.
