Sorry if that sounded harsher than intended. Frankly, it's a thing I'd never expect to see fixed before the story was finished because it's a trivial issue that happens a couple of times at most. I only brought up my old pics or went back to confirm it was still present in this release because, just like when I pointed it out earlier, people seemed to be misreading what was being talked about.

Also, since you're in the area, do you mind clarifying something from the latest release for me?

Actually, for some behinds the scenes stuff, I've had some feedback that the patrol event ends too quickly, but this is because it's supposed to be followed up immediately by another event. There just wasn't any time to implement it because it's not short.

I disagree with your framing. The fact that I am certain yellow is fear and you have a question mark after pride shows that one of us is reaching, and it isn't me. I am sure we can agree that someone can act one way and feel another. She may be acting with bravado and braggadocio but yes, she is afraid. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate... well, you know the rest. We can respectfully disagree, though. The gold=pride idea isn't totally off base. It is just kinda... more boring.

I wouldn't say the changes justify starting a new playthrough. Now the girls say basically the same as before but their actual words, mood, and mannierisms feel a bit more coherent with their current characterization, which I guess is better for new players. Visually the scene has also improved but there are no major changes except for the MC not being able to pass on Chrys lewd signs (he won't get reprimanded by Missus Powell, though).

New theory: The mastermind villain is Shiro's daughter

Mainly because we're closing in on the end of the story, and since she isn't even a potential LI like Josie, you have to ask why the Dev went to all the time, trouble and expense of introducing her to the story?

She has to have something to contribute for the Dev to have felt it was worth the time and money to buy her DAZ model and work her into the game. But we've seen nothing of her since and she did not show even a hint of attraction to the MC so she's not an LI.

Working backwards from that logic, I then ask myself... does she have Motive, Means, and Opportunity to kidnap Queen Unbreakable? And the answer is Yes, Yes, and Yes.

The same motive, means, and opportunity her father has. To find the man who killed her mother, whom she suspected Queen Unbreakable knew about. With access to her father's tech(and maybe his powers too? Unclear on whether or not she is also Metahumanly intelligent) and her company's money/Hero association records to hire criminals, she has all the ingredients needed to pull this off. Maybe on some level she even blames Queen Unbreakable. Both for failing to prevent her mom's death and failing to bring Hardlight to justice resulting in a lifelong obsession for her father that made him neglect her.

The only question left is whether her dad is in cahoots with her, or he just failed to realize he unwittingly transferred his obsession over to his daughter and she followed that obsession down a much darker path than him.

I will never understand this criticism.

There are no new ideas in storytelling.

None. Zero. Nada. Null.

It is ALL cliche.

Good storytelling is about doing the cliches well. Laying out the breadcrumbs that will lead astute readers/listeners to the right answer logically. If you're going to subvert expectations (which is still cliche by the way), that too must be done in a way that logically makes sense and isn't just some 11th hour ass-pull for the sake of "shock value" or the writers writing themselves out of a corner they wrote themselves into.

One of the worst examples of that last thing that comes to mind was way back in Avatar the Last Airbender. We have so many seasons of buildup, character development and moral wrestling over whether or not Aang will kill the Firelord.

There were two cliche routes for that to take. Kill the Firelord and let Aang wrestle with the consequences of that. Or don't kill him, and wrestle with the consequences of that.

But the writers were so desperate to avoid cliches they produced a magic turtle out of thin air in the 2nd-to-last episode to give Aang the miraculous third option on a silver platter at the last minute. A solution like this had never been so much as hinted at. It made no sense and stole all the weight from the final...and completely cliche...decision that Aang should have had to make at the end of the story.

I would have so vastly preferred a cliche ending to a lazy ending like that.

Never be afraid of a cliche. Just do the cliche well. The wheel exists. None of us are so brilliant that we are going to reinvent it. But that shouldn't stop us from making good wheels.

Having issues with Chrys story. After doing the event where here mom comes to visit, i cant leave the garage. The option to leave literally eoesnt appear on screen. I can only click on the car and the suit. Every other character is fine, but when do this 1 event i get fkkn stuck.

You can only go to the second floor, per design. The event continues there.

Nice update with a lot of questions for the future. Spoilers might be ahead.

How exactly does dreamgirl's powers work now that she has entered our dreams at least twice?
Is she actually with us?

Will the girls be unable to leave scratch marks and hickies on MC at this point?

In a bit more serious tone, this update had a really good mix of everything. Training, story progression, action, comedy, character development and mysteries. We captured another villain but couldn't get much out of her yet aside of her massive ego, so the interrogation might be extensive after this. Does she have any connection to the game character and by extension maybe to Chrys' mom? Does anyone want to place bets?

Also, am i the only one who likes Josie more and more each time she shows up? She is funny, genuine and she gives a nice outside perspective to all this superhero stuff. The academy women are still the best, but i liked every scene with her and i'm looking forward for more.

Another small bug, after moving ferocity into her room in the morning, you can in the afternoon interact again with her however it doesn't show that event in the hint in the bottem right only a different even in the first floor.
