The 2nd comment didn't comment didn't insult anyone just the game, which i think is deserved don't like it? Tough shit. Didn't break any rules, if you have argument against those points tell me if they make sense I'll listen. I'm not a blind hater. When I first said that this was shit, a fellow commenter said it gets better as the Dev was still new at writing in the beginning and I listened sat through the brain rot.
As for the 1st one, you're saying asking someone if they have met women when they clearly have a warped sense of romantic chemistry, is me collecting Tate points? Simple question who has more Tate points, me? Or someone who thinks its normal for women to spread em just cus a guy was nice and saved them? That's the literal definition of the nice guy meme, "I do nice thing for woman, why woman no give pumpum?". You like it the AVN, just admit its flaws and embrace it but saying how 4 woman all fall in love with the MC and want to bang him 24/7 and are also Ok with him sleeping around and that not weird? There's not even dialogue about it, its portrayed like its normal, treating them like props.
Then downplaying the whole discussion cus its a character in a AVN, dude get of that horse before you break an ankle. I can say the same thing, why take offense to something said in a AVN forum? See how stupid that sounds? Its called a discussion thread.
If i asked you what shit were you smoking when you said this game was 2 stars, then am i just praising the game or am i also insulting you or your judgement? This might just be the way you usually communicate, but it is confrontational.
But i like discussions and rational debates, so let's do that.
Starting with MC himself. You say he is unattractive and a nobody.
My counter point is that he is a tall, handsome young man who is decently fit for a regular (non-superhero) citizen. These were all pointed out from the start. He is not bad looking even before his superpower kicks in.
Aside from this he is handpicked and endorsed by one of the most famous superheroes, and he was picked because his first instinct was to rush in to help when he saw someone getting hurt. At the same time you can call him bland if that's how you see it, but he is calm, humble and quick to praise and acknowledge other people's qualities.
He is not unattractive at all.
Is this enough to build a harem in two weeks IRL? Of course not. In a game? Still not necessarily, depending on the tone and the author's intent. I've read before that you would have preferred a longer set up for the relationships and that is completely valid. But that is your preference and it does not mean that everybody shares it for every story.
How are all the women fine with it? Well, there are two answers to this.
First, the meta answers is that this game is a harem game. If the characters in it would oppose the concept, then it couldn't be a harem game. This is a degree of suspension of disbelief you have to accept when you click on the download button.
Second, in game these women talk to each other. MC is not always present in every conversation and it was mentioned in the story several times that they all discussed their situation. But again, this is between 4 women who have known each other for years and it is also clear that they would have different reactions if this harem was to be expanded, depending on the candidate and also that people outside of the academy would not endorse this either.
So how did we get to this set up? Let's take a look at the 4 main women in question:
First Chrys. She is basically roleplaying at start. She has a high sex-drive, she finds MC attractive and she thinks that this is how she has to act in order to start a relationship. She wrongfully assumes that guys would not be interested in a well educated rich girl who's main hobbies are video games and cooking. Is it foolish? yeah, but again she was sheltered at home and she is sheltered at the academy, so she has no experience at all.
Second one is Valentina. She has an obviously unique personality. She has little experience in human interactions and has little to no filter, so she says and does what she want or what she thinks is expected of her in most cases. With her matter-of-fact attitude nudity is just natural and it can be a tool for teaching just as sex can be used to release tension and get to know one another.
Third would be Riley. At the start of the story she tries to hide it, but she is angry, frustrated and disappointed in herself. She is not at the point she wanted to be and every decision she made on her own has backfired so far. She knows she needs help to move forward, but she doesn't see some of her own mistakes and isn't ready to admit the others yet. For her MC is not an old friend she almost alienated through arguing. He isn't a junior teammate she should have been leading for years now and failed to do so. And he isn't a mentor who saw her slip down just before she could achieve her goals. To her he is a chance.
Finally, Harper. She is born to be famous. Her mother is a star, her powers are strong and she had them since she was a child. She is the most famous student in the academy and she had more TV interviews and articles than the rest of the team combined. But at the same time she just wants to read a book (and an occasional smut) in a park with some icecream at the ready. While Harper is normally on her guard and ready to present herself as the future star hero she is supposed to be, within a few days MC has seen her vulnerable, down in the dirt (literally) or stress eating icecream and for the first time in her life he still showed interest.
So yeah, all 4 main women in the story could go out and meet new people, after all they regularly go to the city, but they all have issues that would prevent them from forming healthy relationships even if they did. In fact that's pretty much Riley's backstory.
Moving on to the Felicity problem a bit. You do realize that MC decides to keep her in the academy because letting her go or reporting her to the police would be a death sentence. If the villains don't silence her, which they are clearly capable of after everything that happened to Lovestruck, then her condition from the borrowed power would be her slow and painful end. It's ok if you don't like her, or this decision, most of the cast agrees with you, but you can't deny that this is what this MC would have done.
Some of your other points in that post you might have to explain a bit if you want me to address them, since they are too vague.
And so i said that you are raising Tate points, because you reduced the potential qualities that women might be looking for in MC to fame, strength "woo/charisma" and six pack. MC is indeed lucky to be at the right place at the right time as he is ready to admit multiple times in the story, but he has lots of other attributes that are show or at least glimpsed early on that can make him attractive to women.
I have also re-read rhcp725's post several times, but i simply can't find the moment when he said that women spread their legs to anyone who is nice and saves them. That looks awfully lot like a strawman, but please point me in the right direction. You were also the one who brought up real life stuff when he has been clearly talking about things in fiction as he explicitly wrote at the end of his post, so the Tate points are rightfully yours.
In the end i didn't downplay your discussion with him because it's about an AVN, i downplayed it because your first and last sentences to him were insults and sandwiched between them were some points that each look vague, shallow or mistaken.
