The thing is, people still like Demi a lot and the guy in prison more than they did Lexi, Dani and Nico. Regardless if they choose their gender as male or female. So, you liking them isn't really that odd or going against the trends, even if you choose Demi and the other as femboys. A lot of people still choose them.Imagine me, among the, apparently, very few fan of TrapDemi and that cute Prison BussyWhile so many people seem to really have not liked the prison guy and immediatly made Demi a girl, seemingly hating the options to have two traps

No but seriously, I feel like that side could be more exploited for interesting stuff even in the story, yet it's mainly kept for side stuff, appart from maybe two or three occasions. It's sad, it feels like wasted potential to me...
And I sorta agree with DrakoGhoul on Alice's case. Love the character, mind you, but since she's so much baked into the story, it really feels like we're kinda forced into her, even compared to other characters who got quite a bit more development recently, like Emily (who's absolutely gorgeous in the new art omfg).
Liz feels like she's just the token "yeah whatever" girl, Amber is token angry girl, our favorite cop basically disappeared, the HERO gals barely have anything meaningful when it comes to the MC...
I dunno, it feels like we're being pigeonholed a bit too much because of how much Alice is baked into the story.
Could be because it's WeirdWorld's plan to make Alice the canon MC wife, though...
Aside from that, I don't have much issues with the game.
Do I think there could be some stuff added ? Yes. Like, new side-stories, even now. Just slapping them with a "This happened a X time, before Y event", flashback style, and you can actually add some side stuff, develop the characters some more, even while the story is running in a more "closed off" manner. All you need to do is make a "break" in the main story, by simply having the MC stop in a relatively safe place for a breather, in a "Okay I'm fairly safe, I'll take an hour to rest before I keep going", slap the possibility of doing the side stuff you added this update, and you're good to go. If people don't want to break the rythm, they just keep the story going, and you can set a variable to the side stuff so that, once the game opens up again, the variable tells it "this side story hasn't been done, ask the player again if they want to do it".
Demi, in fact, has a huge fanbase and a lot of people like them. If you go back to when I snuffed her out, people were giving me sad reactions and calling me a monster for being completely serious about killing her in game. Even questioning my sanity. To this day, she's still dead. You didn't get a reaction like that for Dani and won't for Lexi and Nico, excluding myself.
Now if you look at Lexi, Dani, and Nico, the reaction here would be way different. Dani died and most people were happy to finally kill her while I was simping hard af. People think Lexi cries and complains too much to be interested in her, even after her revamp art. Before that, not many even cared about her besides myself. Then there's Nico, who needs no explaining at all. All you have to do is go back to posts where we joined HERO to see all the hate.
WIth all of this out there, now you know why I'm the odd man out. A lot of people like Demi. A lot of people like Ella, Alice, Tiffany, Claudia, The Twins, Mia, Brianna, Emily, and so on. A lot of people don't like Danica, Nico or Alexis. Hell, there's more Laurie fans than there are for those 3, combined.
