At first I didn't trust it either but then it became clear that it actually avoided many corruption points, specifically those gained passively, not those gained from your choices, so it's absolutely necessary for no/low corruption runs.
As for "her being fine" she seems to never miss the chance of killing people, and even go out of her way to kill people multiple times, not something I would consider "fine" on a moral standpoint.
I also have the impression that the whole "being trapped with the spirits she killed" is linked to how many people she killed and thus with her corruption, that is not a good situation in any standpoint, especially given what they used to do to her, well at least Mc helped with that in the end.

So far, I would not go high corruption, take the options that give more power + corruption and ignore all the options that only give corruption.
Losing the option to hug your mom is just not worth it, the MC may be walking but he's dead inside.

ATTENTION YOU HAVE TO READ THIS, I think I found a glitch because on the day before 66 I had 52 power and I have not touched the (skill training). After fighting against Jake and Deryl, but when I get to day 66 I have 53 power and the only thing we are supposed to have is 1 skill point with Michael and just so you know I NEVER TOUCHED THE MOD SINCE I STARTED PLAYING.

I imagine everyone has different reasons but for me its because she's the most wholesome and wife material.
She also lacks that 'baggage' most of the other girls have as well.

As someone going through pure corruption route, yeah.
It does feel like you've lost even the base humanity you have left by literally missing out what makes MC a Human.
I don't recommend it for anyone who loves the cast of friends and family in the game.
WeirdWorld wrote them as humanly as possible.
