Honestly I myself have long thought of Emily as Soul-Spawn, and I get wanting to see a human Darkness-spawn. But my point was that Ella should in all honesty have known if Emily was at all Dark-compatible, even if her sight isnt perfect. In all reality Emily's monster progenitor could be some freak outlier that is different from the rest of monsterkind, like the Strength Eaters. Ella's words about the Foxgloves being Strength Eater spawn makes it seem like they either dont make spawn often or that it shouldn't be possible in the first place.
Ella could tell that Jake potentially had the chance for Order though. So if it was Soul, she would've got hints of Dark and Light within Emily. However, Ella couldn't tell at all so it's likely a monster that's somewhat outside of the Apostles and the completed traits.

Personally, I think Emily's compatible with the Qliphoth. Seeing as WW went out of his way to make those related to Great Ocean seem rare. I think Emily will be for the sky side of the monster world to make her completely different from everything. It would also explain why Ella can't tell what she's compatible with. Since said monster god seems to have problems with those of Body and likely hasn't made a spawn of its own at all. Ella also likely can't tell it's makeup because it's aura terrifies her.

Oddly enough, Eisheth being of Truth and named Princess of the Qliphoth implies that 9th spawns and their descendants don't suffer from the same issue. With the way it's power is capable of extending throughout all of the spheres, it would seem to be of Body and Truth. The only issue then being that those two traits don't have influence over the immaterial world and Ella should be able to identify it. So it implies that it has some special position in the hierarchy. Potentially even being an unintended side effect of the universe being created. Assuming Emily is compatible with it.

Anyway, the Qliphoth is where I lean with Emily. It so happen to be the only monster that's a bane to Ella.

Well when I made the comment about the big booba goth GF getting the darkness powers. I was being tongue and cheek about it, as in its predictable based off stereotypes. I am 1 update late mind you. If anything, I was more interested in who would be truth since I can name the rest.

Twins for creation and destruction. Space Alice, Time Claudia eventually, Mind and Body are obvious. Jake and Michael with Power and Authority, but Jake is iffy. Tiffany for Light and Shen for Fantasy which leaves out Darkness and Truth.

I probably made some mistakes like some would argue that the twins probably wont really amount to much since it is known that Deryl survives in the future going off the dream sequence. Or maybe I skipped over who is the truth representative somehow, some abilities are a bit weird to figure out. If it involves beams I assume Destruction or Power, maybe Creation to a degree, no clue how Truth really works and the fight with Eisheth does not really help in explaining it to me.
it does not, valrahn is darkness and truth is eiseth

I tried to play where the Beta 0.995 update left off and didn't see anything new, Where is the new content that this 0.996 update supposedly has?

it's not new content, its bug fixes and spelling corrections and sometimes minor continuity fixes.

Now I'm confused, the Changelog for this update says it has more content, so the new content that was attributed to this update is actually from the previous one?

Tbh i dont get the whole emily hype but probably cause her bad sprite model in the early game. Well for her becoming a spawn highly doubt its an apostle, especially the 7th dark apostle as their chosen is valrahn. And im one of those guys who would prefer not everyone to become a superhuman, there's more risk and fun at play when you have a vulnerable side to the story.
You dont see the vision for emily... emily's the most human person in this story

15Gb!?
Why so big? It's just pics, not 4k video and just a few updates back it was about 800Mb!
I was just about to post about the file size after checking the last version I had v0.991 is about 1.16 gigs. I have 20 gigs of free space left.... Not sure if I can even boot up my computer if I download this.

Edit: Okay A compressed version exists, will try it out.

Or him not wanting to get caught. I personally favor the view that the eye is rebellious and not the arbiter but some weird mix up. Imagine that instead of evolving from the 3rd and 4th apostles the eye actually devolved into a crude form of the arbiter.

And the motive about the 3rd & 4th apostles being different was something i believe everyone caught onto but no one knew why. We do not see any 1st & 2nd apostle mixes or light & dark, creation & destruction etc. They all make someone their "Chosen" spawn for assumed resurrection/avatar control of that person.
I like the Idea of the eye being a rebel or insurgent, it reminds me of the previous interactions with the eye, I think during the Jake Arc when we break the conditioning of Jakes MC that the eye said we won't be controlled or they will not control us? Paraphrasing here.

The eye says something along the lines of, "The First does not control us."
"First" referring to Authority, Jake's monster parent.

If you do not pursue the NTR path, it doesn't happen at all. No need to worry about it happening while you aren't looking.
Ok coo, thanks. Its just that I found it super suspicious that Liz was tired and then in a later scene, Deryl asks Liz to help cook and rejects Alice
