That's not a good excuse. The Eye intentionally goes out there incomplete and believes he'll win until he gets stomped. That's an L. Especially when he already knows the outcome, apparently. Yet, still chooses to go like he's going to succeed anyway.

Eye doesn't read the future now does he? it's an ancient being that has been waiting for a really long ass while and finally has a chance with our MC so ofc he goes out there and break free if the player picks the wrong choices. He doesn't know it all and it's suprised to see OP mfers like the big 3 and Deus isn't a normal lvl 4.

Now we really going to compare that to Cole? Dude had a rough child hood under Brannon's care, crushed hard on Ella his whole life and tried to get her attention only to have our chad MC come in like a wrecking ball and ruin his whole world. C'mon dude who's the biggest loser between those two?

What's fucked up is, those are just the two attempts we know about. That Eye probably got so many other Ls that we don't see, it's probably insane. Hell, it might've actually went insane because of that and just jumps at any chance now.

Why are you repeating the same thing I already said like that would make a difference? I already put the context of Deus having more power than Nico at Level 4 to show he's not normal. That doesn't change anything though. Origin knows he lost to Deus, even if you don't do that dead end or have the stats for it. That means he has some level of awareness of the many outcomes out there.

He also flat out states that MC isn't ready for him to take over, but accepts anyway if MC agrees. Just because he's impatient doesn't disqualify his bad decisions. A L is a L. He lost twice to Superhumans as a God. Hell, Lexi even turned his power back on him, before he had to smack her across the dimension. What are we even talking about here?

So no, I don't think Cole is worse than that. You're free to believe he is, but I'm a bit different. We're talking about one of the Gods in the entire setting doing dumb shit against Superhumans. A Level 4 losing to a Level 3 isn't even unheard of in the game. Hell, Level 4 Ella somehow beat Hex and cheesed Valravn after catching him during his ritual. That's two S Class monsters. Is that a bigger L? Even though Valravn lost his heart. He still should've won since he killed the previous Chosen of the 3rd, who was likely much stronger.

Well, my memory is foggy cuz I haven't played in a minute, but the whole point is, the Eye itself doesn't know it all, I remember the last dead end when Bernhardt killed him, he was quite suprised that 3 beings like those are allowed to live. That isn't an embarrasing L there IMO.

On the Battle of the Diamonds dead end, the eye itself is weak and desperately trying to find something (possibly Ella and someone else) for some unknown reason and runs into Lexi who's a complete lvl 5 superhuman and Deus who is clearly not normal, another L that isn't embarrasing and is justified. Sure you may argue the Eye being retarded but in none of those cases struck me as a huge L or OMG A GOD LOST TO SOME GRUNTS.

Cole in the other hand, he lost to the MC because he threw caution aside, he kept falling for MC and Deryl's tricks through the entire fight for an embarrasing defeat. It stings even more 'cause he didn't even get killed and is now a lab rat for Tanos.

The Eye gets memories from all of the surrounding monsters and Goliath. That's while boasting about having power beyond Level 5 and his connection to his higher plane giving him inexhaustible power.... He was in no way weaker than Lexi. Especially when he could've killed Goliath and Lexi can't penetrate him because of his size. That is embarrassing.

Like I said though, you're more than free to say Level 4 Cole is worse for losing against two Level 3s. That's fine. However, I think the Origin is much worse and there's really no way you'll convince me otherwise.

Fair enough, I suppose. I give the Eye a break cuz he isn't complete and lvl 5 superhumans aren't to be slept on, if anything it reinforces my belief that the big 3 at HERO will be the final challenge for the MC in a full corruption playthrough. (Yeah in the current arc I don't think the Chosen will win that war vs HERO lol).
