Tainted lineage probably means not the pure form of the origin (or the parts of that from the Apostles)..
Aglaecwif tells us Ella is collecting the hearts of creatures with a pure and untainted lineage to the Apostles (or something like that anyway) so pure would be from just 1 Apostle and untainted would mean no other influences, like being tainted or part of their own species (either monster or spawn) deforming the powers of said Apostles in any way...

If the purpose of the Apostles is to bring back their Arbiter, only offspring of the 2 twins would matter, any combination of spawns that have a different Origin is useless... A spawn of the first breeding a spawn of the seventh simply will not match...

I have entertained the thought in a previous post, that there is actually a 6th evolution, based on something Ella said after fixing Mia. I was probably overreaching and reading too much between the lines, but the main idea is that level 5 is the state where the Superhuman is ready to fullfill the purpose it was turned, and those select few that can actually complete their assignment evolve again.

Of course Humans have their own agenda, no matter if they are super or normal. It probably requires a certain level of "monster affinity" (for the lack of a better term) just to get the task.

The relative snippet is this:

Ella "The mechanism inside you will cease to function, you will be for all intents and purposes, complete."
Ella "No more deviation in your powers, no more unlocking new abilities. Only improving on what you already have."

Ella "Until you're ready to fulfill the purpose of the powers given to you."

Ella "Of course. You don't think monsters just give out power for no reason, do you?"

This can be read two ways:

2) Reach level 5 and you will be given a purpose. The evolution mechanism will stop till you are ready to complete it.

I won't say that the chances of the second interpretation are high but I think it's something to keep in the back of my mind.

I'm of the opinion that said purpose is to be a vessel for the return of the arbiters, for those apostles working towards that goal, which seems to at least be our twin pair of apostles. It's possible that it's ??? because by allowing the origin into you, you've transcended into a higher plane of existence and as such labels like evolution levels stop mattering, rather than just level 6 or whatever.

I'm kinda curious if the MC (or HERO) in general will ever encounter a monster beyond S rank. the way the teacher made it sound it seems like they do not exist but he does say when a student asks about it "then we're all fucked" seems like level 5s won't be able to stop it and in such case perhaps there is something beyond level 5 but what exactly I have no clue.

My guess is that no one has been able to breach past level 5 simply because no one found a way around what has ceased functioning to even allow further evolution to begin with so it's just assumed 5 is the hard limit. Perhaps evolving beyond level 5 requires something else rather than the usual people have done and that's why everyone is just stuck at 5 when they get there.

I was thoroughly impressed by the new Liz NTR scene (looks wise) in particular. They've also improved their descriptive dialogue as well I've noticed, which can make or break a scene for most people. I covered this by saying the scenes are limited with the characters, using Lexi as an example, basically. Alice is the major counter point to it all though, in reference to me saying they're limited. It's more like the other LIs aren't getting as much action and angle work during their scenes.

Thinking about it, I believe Alice is the MC's first girlfriend. Time wise, I don't think you can get Liz or Amber fast enough to be your girlfriend. I do think however that is wrong to categorize him as a "monster". He is something unique (at least till proven otherwise).

Valravn, unless crows are capable of possessing infection-resistant genes, and he in particular did, should be an Infected.

Even if he would be an exceptionally powerful one, as Apostle-Spawn. From an early Dead-End, we can assume that the power level of your monster parent is likely relevant to the power-level of a monsterfied spawn, because Alexis theorized MC was infected by an S-Class. (Note that S-Classes are always unique monsters- not entire species.) Though Infected tend to simply become another monster as the same type as their parent- what would that even mean for Apostle-spawn? But I digress.

Valravn is a monster. Not Superraven, alas, according to several points in his monster report, though he does seem to have had relatively high intelligence from near to the start, taking his Knight form after the very first time he consumed a heart as a monster.
What is of note, however, is that he is not an Infected. He is a Variant.


A Variant is usually the result of a Superhuman who fails their evolution.
Again, this does not mean Valravn is/was a Superraven. There is a line addressing this in-game.

Whether Valravn has obtained a pseudo-evolution, some other form of power boost, whether his heart-eating has changed and empowered him, or even if Apostle-Spawn monsters are Variants by default, is unknown to us at this time, unfortunately.

Since we're sort of back to this Ella and Nyx working together thing(Okay, I brought it back up myself), I'll give my take. But first, if we go with this Nyx and Ella corpse thing, this proves Ella already knew about the MC's memory trait.

Of course, I already said she knew earlier on but if we're going with the whole "Nyx's Negative Energy was used to prevent the MC from going into her memories and finding out the truth" it seems likely that they planned this to counter the memory reading of the MC. Which she would have to have known prior since there's no potent one in HERO besides him. Something which HERO has known since his meeting with Sharon. This obviously excludes Nyx for the memory reading, if she's helping Ella. So, if they're working together, Ella knew about his memory trait prior to her lost.

There's also the chance that it has nothing to do with Nyx and she's not helping her at all. Maybe Ella already developed a counter for Nyx and is simply playing dead until the negative energy wears off. Thinking about it, it's clever. If Ella knows the MC's Memory trait has progressed enough, she could have played possum to see how ready he is without letting anyone in on her plans. HERO is most likely going to try to use him to get her memories out after Nyx's energy fades and once he sets up that memory link, she'll have him where she wants him.

It's already been said repeatedly that Ella's going to bring the MC to her side, even if he doesn't like it. Originally, it seemed ridiculous since we're in HERO and she can't possibly come and get us but now that she's actually here, she can definitely pull it off. This is all while simultaneously freeing all of the other highly dangerous monsters and superhumans HERO has caged up(Free the homie Val). Ella and possibly that damn tree, are the perfect trojan horse. She'll be able to get serums and everything with this infiltration.

So for me, I don't think Nyx is working with Ella, though it's possible. I think Ella is using Nyx and her power to her advantage while throwing off suspension. It's more likely that Deus(or Zack tbh) is "helping" her since she had counters and everything set up before they even infiltrated. The monsters were ready to entrap Malik while Ella had an entire body made underground for Nico specifically. Which is what makes that scene even more suspicious because Nico wasn't supposed to even infiltrate, originally and yet she built a defense against her. Meanwhile, you had Deus apparently "cornering" Hex the entire time while doing nothing unless the MC loses his marbles.

I believe it was also stated before the infiltration that Ella might have a Future Seer as well because of how prepared she was to stop the other Captains from coming. I mean, it's possible she has a monster one but they would come across the same scenario as Deus since their time powers would intersect. They would draw the same conclusion, even if it's less detailed or accurate. So for me, I think Deus, or Zack, with a slim possibility, "helped" her. I say "help" because they most likely guaranteed that what she planned would succeed instead of outright destroying her while the chance is there.

Long story short, I would say Ella purposely got captured so she can get more serums, release the unique monsters/superhumans HERO has captured over the decades and to possibly capture the MC. She's most likely working alone but it's possible that Deus(or Zack) or Nyx are helping her in a limited capacity. Hell, maybe both of them are. I think her goal was to use her own body as a trojan horse into HERO. It would also explain why Cole and the others barely participated in the battle. And why Hex was all of a sudden ready to teleport them all away once Ella went down when he was supposedly locked in combat with Deus.

Either way, I don't think we're getting the answer next update, at least not until the very end. We got to meet MC's Dad and Alice's Papa Fairy before finding out what's going on with the twins. Then we got to go on our own infiltration mission to kill Jared's dad. I don't think the Ella thing is going to pop off until after the next update or the one after that. This is how I see it currently. I still need to get around to updating my saves to the public release but I'm still feeling too satisfied and don't have the urge to play the game, at the moment.

Whether Valravn has obtained a pseudo-evolution, some other form of power boost, whether his heart-eating has changed and empowered him, or even if Apostle-Spawn monsters are Variants by default, is unknown to us at this time, unfortunately.

It would make some sense if it's the heart eating... The myth was about a raven eating the hearts of humans, then turning into knights... Valravn's power can be restored by eating human hearts (preferably children) so perhaps he evolved that way too...

Does killing the sleazy producer guy produce any backlash regarding Julie the secretary?

I know she is just an NPC right now, and not truly involved in the MC, but he promises her that everything will be okay for her and her daughter, and I'm wondering how this can happen if we kill the fat fuck instead of sparing him.
