I think they meant they didn't like Cole referring to Daryl using "it" instead of "he" as if Daryl was some sort of inferior animal. And they didn't like Cole talking shit about the MC, too.

I get that, I totally do. All I can say without specifics is that choices so far, matter. If you think something will make you more corrupt, chances are they do; and you can confirm that by viewing your stats before and after you make a choice.
As a few examples, see what happens when you kill Christie (I won't spoil, but if you know who she is, take a gander). If you are given the choice to bash something into a building full of people, or kill some thugs, absorb someone, or even compliment someone, make the better or worse choices in combat, etc etc. Based on the titles alone, you should already be able to deduce that those all effect; corruption and public relations, corruption, affection with a character, or increase your skill or power or even lead to a dead end. All of which can be checked via the stats menu before and after the fact.
As for the requirements of certain choices or ones that get you dead ends, it's almost always obvious. The game CONSTANTLY hammers in the fact that you have to get stronger, hell; the whole god damned universe seems to be out for you based on the first combat experience, it's safe to say without spoiling that training should ALWAYS be your first priority. After that, make smart choices. An example being, if you just saw Clark go toe to toe with Ella, what makes you think you can kill him in the sewer? If Klaus is kicking everyone's ass, why would you think NOT helping Alice (who's weaker than you) stop a DBZ spirit bomb would be the RIGHT choice?
It's all in the deets, check your stats frequently, and that'll solve your issue. If you have specific in depth questions, ask me! Or the more than friendly community.
For the record, my expertise is a Corrupt Harem Route. Any female with a pulseand any "evil" choice that doesn't affect the previously mentioned; I'm your guy!

As for Cole. He has to die for just being himself. He's a shit starter and is easily motivated by jealousy, from what I can see. I hope we can taunt him too since we fucked his "big sis". Also, her students are going to get killed as well if they touch Brianna. I don't care if Cole is mostly responsible. Those 2 are going to die in the most painful way alongside him.
Hopefully we get some more corruption scenes. It's been a while since corruption had effects. Maybe this helmet stuff is hinting at what's coming in the next update for corruption. I need to see Mommy and show her my progress! I've been a good little greater spawn since we've last met.

Man, I've been turned off from trying this game for so long due to the art, but now that I did, I regret not getting in on the train earlier. It's pretty damn good, and even if the art is not WoL levels of good, it still has its own unique charm to it that I've come to really enjoy.
Although, maybe the only real complaint I have is how pretty much every LI is a slut and doesn't seem to shy away from telling the MC that at every turn. I'm glad that NTR seems to be completely optional, at least so far (I'm about to go to the casino with Alice and Michael), but hey, I wish I didn't have to hear how everyone has handled dick before in pretty much every sex scene xD

I don't mind the girls being experienced. They are all super-attractive girl who are well past age where they would start dating. It makes sense for them to have some experience. It also doesn't come up that often, it's mostly just offhand remarks indicating that they know what they are doing. The only one who goes in detail is emily. There's certainly no lack of games with parades of supermodel-tier girls in their late teens/early twenties, who are simultaneously virginial maidens and extremely horny for protagonist dick.
It comes up prettty often, in nearly every sex scene involving the college girls, but perhaps my mild distaste for it makes me more aware than someone that doesn't mind it as much. I'm not saying every girl should be a kissless virgin who knows nothing about sex either! Lord knows there's enough of that around, not only in other wegs, but in me, the player as well xD
All I'm saying is that, were I to have a fuckbuddy or a girlfriend or anything like that, I definitively wouldn't want her to make any remarks as to what or who she's done in the past, however minor they might be, just as I wouldn't share anything about my experiences (or lack thereof) to her.

Be it the art or NTR, there's always something someone has to bitch about.
1. No one with common sense reads NTR for the plot. Unless you quite literally hate yourself to personally invest yourself like you are the guy getting cucked (deeper meaning you some people automatically go to that?). To me, NTR is just another sex scenes, and in my experience; is even done better than vanilla (not in this case).
2. Everyone cries about the art. Why is it that you can't like unrealistic work? I'm sorry, did you (not you specifically but also you) read/play porn for realism? Is that what you think DAZ is, realistic?
1. A game I've been checking out lately is "Being Super." It follows a sort of "Invincible" style story in which you play as a superhuman who's dad was basically Omni Man. It's up to your choices whether or not you use your powers for good, or like your father. I enjoy it so far as a build up just for the freedom of choice, but one of my biggest problems with the action is it, like the rest of the game: is portrayed by cringey ass motherfucking DAZ models. Can be good for sex, but by NO means is it normally EVER good for action (shout-out to Desert Stalker).
2. More to my point, Superhuman doesn't have this problem, it's hand drawn. I don't know why anyone in their right mind thought within the first chunk of the game, when you encounter a monster; to even THINK that would look better or even in DAZ (or even doable) is ludicrous. Because those are the only real options.
3D, 2D, or RPGM 2D.
-RPGM CAN be good (Succubus Covenant), and would probably be the 2nd best option for a game like this; but in most cases is tedious, overbearing, and grindy.
-3D is like your DAZ or your STUPID anime style 3D (Mystic Manor like style for ref.). BOTH of which would be god awful for an action focused game. From the effects of the powers, to the cringey looking facial expressions, "blood" marks, or even backgrounds, it would ALL be far worse than a 2DCG with no limitations other than imagination.
-The 2D isn't perfect I get that, but given the genre of action focused and abilities and what have you, anything is better than DAZ or any kind of limited clunky 3D. This isn't a multi million dollar company with Unreal Engine, this is one guy/gal,AND their first game to boot, cut them some slack and give them a chance.
3. Continuing with my final point; WW hasn't really failed us to date. I've been following the game since it's first release, and since going on upwards of a year; we are STILL getting consistent updates. No major delays, no lack of sex scenes, constant patreon teasers and NOT JUST pinups, personal update threads, etc. And yet people still have the nerve to whine and bitch about the smallest things. "Alice's tits are too big!","The proportions are wrong!" blah blah blah, it's porn god damn it, it's not your fantasy irl girlfriend. As of V0.921, there is upwards of 88 if not 90 sex scenes, anything from gender bending, NTR, tentacle, you name it, and literally ALL of it, even the straight stuff, is AVOIDABLE minus 2, 2 whole scenes! Even when WW's hard drive was pretty much completely wiped, he/she still pushed back, only with like a week or 2 of a delay; most other devs would've had an unannounced hiatus or even downright abandoned the game all together.
Sorry the rant is so long, but whenever I see someone say, "I was skeptical of the art" or "When I first played (v0.1) it left a lot to be desired" or even "NTR? Gender Bending? I'm out, I'm not a cuck or gay (probably are)", it always grinds my ass. I'm glad you're enjoying it now, I really am, but you've got to play further than half of the beginning or even just make it past the first arc before you either give up or criticize the game just because you were too lazy and didn't fit your generic agenda; only to praise it later.

I don't think the problem is realism (or lack thereof) but, let's be honest, the art looks very much like what's you'd get from a person with mediocre drawing skills at best. And the giant tits probably don't help either, since these tend to be pretty divisive as far as tastes go.

Again, it's fantasy. You want real proportional tits? Go get some in real life. There are FAR WORSE made proportions in this site than in this game. It fits the genre. You want no tits? Demi and Mia are there. You want small tits? Lucy, Amber, Liz. You want big tits? Alice, Emily, Angelina. Stop whining about the small, avoidable things (all of which you don't have to sleep with). There are entire games with proportions that make this game's exaggeration look like child's play. WW even has the decency to explain why characters look the way they look, instead of a poorly drawn excuse or bad rendering. It's their first game, lighten off, or just bugger off. Don't take the whole game down with it just because your principals can't handle it. Better yet if it bothers critics so much actually BE a critic, mention what I said; there are huge tits, but there are also small ones, big ones, medium ones. To bitch about the proportions just because you don't like that one feature and just chalk it up to; "poor drawing" makes your point even poorer.
That's not an excuse for art being technically poor. I think it's fair to point it out, just like it's fair to point out other shortcomings.
Do you get difference between large and comically oversized? This game has the latter. It's a choice, but it's a controversial one because not that many people are into that, so there's no need to get all pissy when people who aren't into it comment on it.
Maybe take your own advice. You don't seem capable of taking other people's comments without blowing up a gasket.

Very little of what you ranted about really has anything to do with what I've said, but those are valid complaints about the community in general. For the sake of this being a forum, and forums being meant for discussion, I'll reply to what I think is appropriate.
People do! That's why I'm playing it right now, and why the game, despite what some might perceive is clunky art, is in the front page of the weighted ratings, isn't it?
I, at least personally, am not really "crying" about the art, it grew on me after I tried the game out, proportions and all that. It just irked me from playing initially, because it's generally means other aspects of the game fall short. WW's writing is pretty damn good, however, my other complaints aside, and if his work ethic is as good as you testify it to be, then I applaud them for having what many other devs don't. May they continue to improve and master their skills!
I understand, and am glad that it is so! A lot of the content in the game is not for me, so I'm glad that the fetishy stuff can be picked apart in order to make the player's personal experience better. The only sour taste in my mouth in that regard, is that it seems the NTR side appears to bleed over into where it shouldn't; I really don't want to hear how Liz needs huge dicks to satisfy her, or how Emily has never handled someone as big as the main character, or how Jake was mind-controlling Amber and Liz in the frat house, then ordered us to leave because we were "interrupting something" and wanted to be alone with two of the game's love interests, even when I made no choice towards the NTR part during the whole game. Liz can like whatever she wants, Emily can have all the experience she likes, but hey, didn't friggin' ask, you know what I'm saying? xD

And contrary to what you might think, I am reading the room in assuming that the entire rest of the game will be just like this, and every other love interest will act the same, save for Mia and perhaps Claudia (I think was her name).
