she can see power itself.

Her analytical skills most likely have something to do with the fact that she is the third chosen.
According to Aos, it's more than just a fancy title and it brings certain benefits.
After all, Aos was also able to identify us immediately.
And when it comes to her shapeshifting abilities, Ella works a little differently than MC.
Her shapeshifting is more intuitive than what MC does. This gave her a HUGE advantage, especially in her early evolutions. MC practically has to collect manuals, but unlike Ella, he is able to make perfect copies. It's inevitable that MC will eventually overpower her, because when they both reach their peak power, the difference in who can make better copies will be key. But Ella has MUCH more knowledge of monsters and how their bodies work. That will give her a huge advantage for a long time to come.

I'm glad WW gave us a lot of bartering choices with actual stakes this update, it gave the game a sense of choice that's been fading out for a while now, especially before the full version. I gave up on the shapeshifter heart for the kid so that little shit better have my power loan or I'm sending the Fairy Alderman to break his kneecaps.
