Well, while this game generally doesnt require brand new saves between updates, the 1.0 update bound for release sometime next year will include bunch of additional and updated content for the early game. The dev has strongly recommended that when 1.0 drops, you should start a new game. Until then you should be fine.

well shit, took me like 3 fucking days to finish this game (well I did other shit too like working 
) , fucking awesome how much content is there. Kinda regretting not giving this a shot before, but the visuals threw me off at first. But it grew on me eventually.

At first I didn't trust it either but then it became clear that it actually avoided many corruption points, specifically those gained passively, not those gained from your choices, so it's absolutely necessary for no/low corruption runs.
As for "her being fine" she seems to never miss the chance of killing people, and even go out of her way to kill people multiple times, not something I would consider "fine" on a moral standpoint.
I also have the impression that the whole "being trapped with the spirits she killed" is linked to how many people she killed and thus with her corruption, that is not a good situation in any standpoint, especially given what they used to do to her, well at least Mc helped with that in the end.

So far, I would not go high corruption, take the options that give more power + corruption and ignore all the options that only give corruption.
Losing the option to hug your mom is just not worth it, the MC may be walking but he's dead inside.

ATTENTION YOU HAVE TO READ THIS, I think I found a glitch because on the day before 66 I had 52 power and I have not touched the (skill training). After fighting against Jake and Deryl, but when I get to day 66 I have 53 power and the only thing we are supposed to have is 1 skill point with Michael and just so you know I NEVER TOUCHED THE MOD SINCE I STARTED PLAYING.
