Well the ending text definitely said this is the last arc (for this game), so I'm going to operate under the assumption that Superhuman 2 is real and will be a thing that happens soon-ish. I'll give it three or four more updates until Superhuman 1 is finished. Then we'll probably have a long wait as WW prepares update v1.0, fixing art and backgrounds and some of the earlier school segments, before preparing for a full Steam release.

There's almost certainly going to be a superhuman 2. There's way too much stuff to cram into the last few updates, if that were the case. We're definitely nowhere near done with this world.

Agreed. My crackpot theory is Superhuman: Part 1 ends with us stopping the ruination of our world, thus putting the cycle of monsters taking over worlds on pause. Superhuman: Part 2 would then be chasing after the apostles themselves (and other gods?) to put an end to monsters for good.

I don't think anyone has that much of a shortcut. They have paths to power that don't have the bottlenecks of evolution, but they're still going to have to put in a lot of work. Plus, the MC doesn't have one, he's still stuck figuring out how to evolve. I think we're still a long way off from anyone being at the power needed to resolve the threat of the monsters and Apostles.

Yeah, I think the conflict is going to be put on pause somehow. Not sure it will be because of us, but something will happen. A lot of what's happened the past couple of updates has had the feel of things building up to a time skip. Party members going separate ways, hinting at big revelations about the past, characters learning about potential ways to get much stronger, these are all things you see before a story goes on hiatus and then comes back with months to years of time having passed in-universe. And if we're going to get a time skip, there should be something to explain why we have the time to spare.

So Deryl confirms that if he was able to complete his Rebis transformation during the BOD he would have been an S class. This is crazy for two reasons. 1. Becoming a Rebis a seems like such a short cut to extreme power, wonder why there aren't a bunch of them running around and 2. Mc was lucky as hell to have beat Deryl before he finished that, otherwise if he didn't he would have zero chance against him any time soon.

Del did say that only one in a thousand of the Rebis' offspring survives. Maybe they have a low birth rate on top of that, so that there are almost no survivors.

And yeah, S-class Deryl would have been way too much for the MC. Honestly, I'm not sure the MC could have beaten Deryl if he just got to as strong as he currently is. He's eliminated pretty much all the weaknesses he had with his monster form that the MC took advantage of. He's more agile, he can produce his weapons faster, he has better defenses and recovery, and he's lucid and making better decisions. A Deryl given enough time to prepare is probably the strongest member of the team.

As I was playing through, I noticed there were quite a few different ways to lose power this update. Very ominous. I think this will be a segment we will be replaying a lot in order to optimize skill/power/corruption/money for the future.

Yeah, by the end of the latest update I had around 721 power, 60 skill, and 24 corruption. I hope whatever took my MC’s power gives it back.

I also asked that monster girl to search for my MC’s mother.

In that regard, I feel that memory-eating should be useless against a memory spawn like the MC. Couldn't he just copy his memories? I hope WW has a good explanation for this.

I love monster girls. so if shes hot and still sane. Than I kinda see that as a win ? That hunt where we fucked one of the monsters the human regain memories sorta proved its possbile. I did want the MC to see her again.

So. Michael's mini arc ended last update, now Alice's mini arc ended in this one. I believe Liz and Amber had a good time of character development in the Monster world arc, and I wouldn't dare to count Cole's fight as Deryl and Mc's development because I feel like it was more Cole's development, you know, having his evo and giving us flashbacks of his past and his thoughts.

Who do y'all think next update will be focused on? Deryl and Mc's development, maybe see them explore that promise they made of growing in power together?

Are you sure it's 721? You get like a bonus 150 at the very end.
