That's kinda the problem with time based powers...they can just say "Nope" no matter how strong, smart, or charming you are. Poof everything you did undone. It's very railroady...but thats kind of the point lol.

Reminds me of some TRPG superpower horror stories you see pop up once in a while.

I guess a power like Deus and Zack possess is extremely rare, and they probably had to be protected until they managed to get to this level. Both of them seem to have to wear some special gear, either to keep their power under control or to deal with any side effects, Xanthe must have been busy with them. I wonder how a battle between time lords would work, the first one to "attack" wins?

Yeah Deus freaked me out a bit in that bad ending with him being able to dispatch the Eye!MC so easily... I mean he didn't even have to move, only focus his gaze to shoot those lasers that completely obliterate the MC body, and then erase him from existence by altering the timeline ( was still awesome though lol). It does remind me of a few horror games where you think the MCs can banish the monster or at least escape but in the end you were doomed from the get go and the creature was only playing with you.

Huh, too bad for that court they didn't have anyone that could alter reality as they needed and just erased Napoleon eh? Or were nigh invulnerable because they were evolved way beyond Napoleon and his minions so that nothing he did could actually hurt them...

I have a feeling this update is going to take a while so to pass the time lets hear about all of your favorite and least favorite fight scenes in the game.

my personal favorite is the Valravn fight, that one on one fucking tango had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, we know Valravn is a lot stronger going into the fight and it takes all the tricks the MC has thought of up to that point to put down that bastard, speaking of Valravn his design is amazing, the dark knight look along with his dimensions being just a little to long to be human adds to his dreadful aura when you realize you have to fight this thing that's been cutting through tanks like butter for the past ten minutes. I also like the use of strategy going into the fight you have to use, you can't just rush in and expect to win but you also can't be to conservative and lose your opportunity to attack. man the first time I saw the Mantis punch actually work in that fight had me yelling. I also like that you have to really work for that victory and can't just evolve to win, it takes everything you've schemed up at that point and a good power to put that bird down, and if you manage to soundly beat him without help hearing Ol Val admit its your victory makes you feel seven feet tall.

If I had to pick one as a least favorite it wouldn't be because I dislike the fight, they're all fun to watch but if you put a gun to my head and said pick one I'd have to go with the Kenny fight, I still enjoy rewatching it and when I first saw it I was glued to the screen, but with all the new fights we've seen since then it feels a little bland next to stuff like fighting Danica, or Klaus, it's still cool to see the MC get his armor, navigate his first fight against something supernatural, and finally rip that fuckers head off, but it feel's a little less epic than some of the other battles down the line

My favorite fight...god damn is that a hard one with all the fights we've had thus far. Honestly? The Klaus fight. It was a tough battle and we even got to see our MC evolve for the first time because of it!

But Val fight is easily second favorite (Dark souls vibesss).

Third favorite goes to Jake vs MC vs Deryl (the whole thing was drama filled and I love it).

My least favorite? The 'fight' between Laurie and MC (although it was a training thing) it was a complete and utter bore to me...I mean the MC is just too far ahead of her and he just overwhelms the one thing about her power (cause shapeshifters go brrr).

The 'fight' between Tiffany and MC right after...I mean it was a cool reveal to her powers and the whole mystery of who this is...but much like Laurie its pretty boring to me cause MC can just stand still and overwhelm her.

Kenny is third least favorite for the same reasons you listed more or less.

My favorite is raven knight shit got from good to epic Lol and the punk fairytale so perfect XD then hydra deryl and rebis deryl fuck was balls to the wall.
My less favorite would be lexi and clark vs ella round 2 ella got plot armor a lvl 4 vs 2 lvl 5 don't fuck with me more so when nico vs ella she gets caked by two nyx just went for the killsteal XD

Howdy, I discovered this game recently so I don't know much about WW's plans with it so sorry if that question has been answered already : I saw there was a Slut stat but it doesn't seem to do much atm, do we have info on that ? I'm totally not asking because I love fem!MC or anything.

Wait...there's a slut stat? I never noticed such a thing.

In any case no clue on the dogclapper front my comrade perhaps the loremaster DrakoGhoul knows or he who surfs the script Gtdead

Maybe it's some stat like the moral one that it is only put there to register what certain events you did or not but I don't really know for certain

Yeah I don't use the walkthrough so thats why I didn't notice (I rely solely on the stat menu and or if a brother such as Gtdead mentions something in the script I'll rely on that too).

Edit: I took a glimpse into the script and slut is indeed a stat. What it does...well idk perhaps its just not important enough to be plopped in the stats menu yet (or at all) or just a hidden stat for some bad end or somethin.

Currently there is no check that uses the slut stat and you can get it up to 6. No other info on it as far as I know.

Favorites (best is first) :

1) MC vs Valravn. Great dialogue, I liked MC's thoughts and way of fighting and it introduced "new" abilities like the Mantis Punch and the new way to regenerate sliced flesh.

2) MC vs Deryl. Again, new ways to fight. Mantis powered projectiles with the silk thread trick, burrowing and of course the third evolution and all the new abilities that came with it.

3) MC vs Klaus. I think that the 2nd evolution scene was awesome and cathartic thanks to how this fight progressed. I also liked how MC adapted to Klaus powers.


Least Favorites (worst is first) :

1) MC vs Angelina's monster. I felt a disconnect because the monster seemed to be way more faster and capable of easily wounding the Eagle form. The game tells us that eagleform is based on aerodynamics. I don't really understand why it's the better option compared to armor.

2) MC vs Medusa. I hate it that MC just loses if he tries to solo it. It's one of the most unceremonious deadends in the game and I don't really get it. This guy is really good at coming up with great solutions, but against a monster that he knew was extremely deadly he just went headfirst without any tricks up his sleeve.

3) Ella vs Nico, the time after Duncan was made into a tree and before Malik. I think there are too many holes in this one. Ella wants to kill Nico but she fucks around way too much. She had numerous opportunities to try for a direct hit because she was immune to the teleportation circle and Nico didn't know it. Instead she was jumping around in her goatform. It was a really nonsensical fight IMO..

As for life, these 2-3 next months are going to be weird because I'm going after a job opportunity that will solve a lot of my problems, not necessarily income related, but it will also create a lot of new ones because I will have to move and my fiancee doesn't like it.

What do you study?

Oh I study Information technology. Very fun subject for me indeed.

My dream is to ultimately become an archivist.

And oof, hopefully your fiancee will come around on the idea of moving (despite not being income related the money will be good no?)
