Its not dodging accountability, it's being humble enough to know you probably don't know everything and you can't possibly account for everything. It's giving appropriate weight to you beliefs.

Nah you're all good man. I think most people took WW's words like you did. But he did technically give no guarantees.
Anything is possible with plot on our side.
Given what he can do in ending 37, it's a safe bet that if he isn't 'broken' and has whatever he was looking for in that ending, he's one of the few creatures in the universe that will be able to survive being teleported into the sun and actually fighting back if Nico comes after him full on.
