still, Nyx has a particular set of skills, I wonder how those 3 would fare against that
I assume that depends how her power works. IIRC it was never really described to be anti-life or the likes, but rather negative energy. The name of the power, and her showing when Michael and Tiffany were evolving, makes one think she drains someone's monster power.

If you look at her ability like that, she'd be positively useless against anyone with power relative to or higher than hers, in other words, Bernhardt, Henri, and Malik, possibly even some or all other level 5s.

It could even be argued that Ella was only affected so drastically and/or quickly by Nyx's move because Malik greatly tired her power reserves beforehand, as I remember someone (Malik I think?) saying Ella's invulnerability thing probably used a lot of energy, not to mention Ella practically went through a gauntlet beforehand. Otherwise, it could be argued that Ella just had lower power reserves compared to the average level 5 since she just recently evolved.

Then again, she does have abilities directly related to life (or death rather), such as resurrecting someone, so there may be more to it than that, but we can't quite tell.

I don't think anything has changed.

1. It's pretty clear that everything Ella has done is in service to a higher purpose, some overarching goal. That includes dating Dave and messing with the MC and other students.

2. People can be soft with some people and extremely cold to others. She doesn't actually kill the MC, though. That dead end seems to be the same as the one where she takes him to Memory and they get ambushed by the Lord of Darkness. WW just didn't want to retread old ground.
I mean it was clear she had some plan, but that still doesn't adress my point that they feel like things Ella should be waisting time with given what we know later, the actions of someone who was dating Dave and messing with students simply doesn't match a character who at the same time was allying with world ending monsters and travelling dimensions. Its like if we see Thanos in Spiderman working at Oscorp helping Norman with his formula's before we find out he was looking for the stones.

Her killing him fits with how little she seems to care. When the MC is in his first big fight at the party, she thinks he's as good as dead and more or less goes, I liked him, oh well, no big deal, the MC is completely disposable to her, so I see no reason why she wouldn't casually kill him. But then later

Superhuman has a bit of story to it and especially for Indie work, it's extremely unlikely the author had all the details planned out.

By the way this isn't some major criticism, I have no issue with things going forward, I am more curious than anything than if early Ella doesn't fully match up with their vision of what she has become.

Ella was looking for possible, apparently “chosen”, people who, like Mc, had some possible connection to the Arbiters, and perhaps something more

Ella knew Mc before everything, but so far, that's all it is, acquaintances. They weren't friends or childhood sweethearts, they just met, so I think it's normal for her to give him up at the beginning, as well as all the challenges, or rather problems and near-deaths she got the MC into, because, as she said herself, you either get stronger, or you die, after all, look at all the dead ends we have.
What's interesting is that as the game goes on, Ella becomes more and more concerned about the MC. I don't have it here, but I remember that they posted a letter left by Ella herself, where at the end, she shows a desire to see the MC one last time before she “dies”.
Love? I wouldn't say that now, but what do you know in the possible future?

exactly, your relationship with ella develops over time rather than her being instantly in love with you the moment you meet because you are the main character

Sorry if i'm derailing the ella topic but i just had to ask in the coming future if u guys think we will get our own house/base since if we do get a hexaring under control and with Alice possibly doing the same power to an extent we could have a fall back point where we can work on improving the place and living there if and when the world fully goes to shit

I think will depend how fucked up the Earth will be. Hopefully enough to not be tied to HERO anymore. Or at least they get us loose.

Not possible. There's no other Hexenringe like Hex. It's a unique M33 with control over space and time. Which is what allows it to create dimensions. Alice would have to make that specific one her Hexenringe and that's not possible. Then there's the fact that Alice wouldn't be able to reproduce the same effects as well. She lines majority into Ether or the 6th Apostle's trait. She's not like MC, and doesn't have a bit of the 5th Apostle within her. So she has no control over time.

Even if she wants Hex, it's too strong for the current her and Nico is likely going to kill it. So Alice is likely going to get a newly created Hexenringe from the Daoine Sith. Whether it be cause Aos made one for her or it chose her. So around B Class. The rank probably doesn't matter as it could probably level up with her over time. Being limited to A Rank, max.

Now if you're just referring to a base within the monster world itself, it's possible but they would have to dominate a region and have worshipers guard it for them. Definitely possible, especially if Alice and Michael reached Level 3 as well. That's 4 direct Apostle descendants taking a land for themselves.

Yes in the monster world plus if Deryl can make something with our girl Alice's help we can just blip in and out two planes of creation or and i'm just reaching here he make's a mobile base somewhere on earth or space better yet since i feel like there will come a time where we will need a place like this if the power of our foe's suddenly increase's beyond even the top brass of hero

She does, but you help her get her memories back on your own later, at the bonfire party. She learns you killed Jake and is, understandably, upset, and MC acts a little "corrupt" in response, scaring her off. I just wish killing him didn't have to be tied to corruption and "giving in" to the primal urges. MC has killed plenty of people without it being a corruptive thing.
It's probably because mc considered him a friend in his 2nd evolution. Sure he killed evil people but he never actually killed people who he thought as a friend

true. i believe mc deep down don't want to kill people he know. corruption is there to allow us to do it.
