If Lvl 5 Jake were to be able to command anything at all with Authority alone, what was the point of Ella trying to groom him to potentially inherit Order? Order is supposed to govern and enforce all natural laws. Authority all by itself shouldnt be able to overwrite universal constants.

I said something regarding this before but I'm too lazy to dig it up.
Jake literally has hentai antagonist powers. 99.9% of the people here would enslave every single women, half of them would be mind broken too because they looked at you funny one time if they were Jake/ had Jake as the MC.
Would he incredibly unrealistic and cucked of the guy if he didn't atleast use it to see some boobs.
Kinda like how you immediately use your powers to turn into women of your life and masturbate.
I'm not quite sure it would work that well, though, considering that Jake is resistant to mind interference iirc, not to mention that he can prevent or sabotage a superhuman that's using their ability (or doing anything in general).
Really, no power (except for maybe Power (lmao)) really comes close to trumping Authority. That shit is so broken, as long as his monster power isn't outright outmatched, it should be a repeat performance of his fight against MC, but the opponent can't remove their ears to not listen to the worst commands, and is probably less versatile.

It's worth remembering that those who have mental powers are generally physically weak and the opposite can also be said, the mc for me is broken precisely because it deviates from this rule.

Yeah some like Memory, Truth and Fantasy can probably resist to it but that's all they can really do. Authority is absurd but like the post above me said, most of them have average superhuman bodies. If you can resist their powers, defeating them is doable, that is if you can even get close to them lmao, the chase is a hard battle, defeating Jake was only possible because we slowed him down with the Mia trick.
Ether is a hard counter for authority though, well honestly, Ether and Time users are just stupidly op as well.
You're right in the sense that MC is also resistant to mind interference, but the problem is that Jake could still affect him way too well regardless, and that's when he could only use his non-verbal commands, which are a lot less versatile, though I guess it's possible that it was so effective only because MC neglected memory back then.
Honestly I didn't think about those. Ether as seen with Alice shouldn't be particularly effective, though the more spatially inclined of the Ether users (Nico for example) Might just be one of Authority's hardest counters.
Time, meanwhile, might be even worse, because even his passive anti-attack compulsion shouldn't affect someone in frozen time, though that's assuming both that powers are still somewhat limited by time, and that you can just stop time like that.

It does say in his profile that the amount of time he spent as a level 3 meant he gained more power from his fourth evolution than usual.

Authority is basically unbeatable. MC beat Jake because Jake was a wimp who couldn't assert his authority. I am 99% sure Jake's own mindset weakened him. Remember when he got trapped and it was revealed that he never even tried to escape and give up. That is totally someone that has authority should not do. People like MC with strong willpower would be able to use it way better

As someone with problems to sleep i basically listen to asmr everyday, i just open a playlist and let it playing through the night, i must say i never imagined i would relate to Cole in such a way.
Also the math does work well, but it is said that Cole got a "notably higher" increase in his power given the time he spent as a lvl 3. So is this 200 of difference the increase ? because it doesn't look that much all things considered, i mean Mc grows 200 in power as a lvl 3 easily, i bet he could make up for this difference in weeks as lvl 4.

I think it's supposed to be multiplying the superhuman's power before evolution by about 3, rather than a flat increase according to the evo. MC at evo 2 had give or take 30 power, and at evo 3 around 300. The gain in 2000 is more gameplay than in universe I think, because it could break calculations for power checks later on.
That being said, Cole's power at level 3 being multiplied by 3 would be about 2700, creating a much more substantial gap between his actual strength as a level 4 and the supposed "normal increase", which makes the description saying his power is notably higher than it should've been a bit more logical, though 200 power is a pretty decent increase regardless.

That makes more sense since the 20/200/2000 we have is based on Mc's progression, in this case a 400+ increase from a more normal 2700 to an improved 3100 IS more substancial.
Though i still think that Mc can make up for this amount easily, if his power increase since lvl 3 is already on the hundreds i imagine we will be able to surpass Cole in power even with his advantage in time.
