No, he said the monster who made her is beyond the Apostles, not Nyx herself. She's an artificial level 5, so she basically can't be stronger than an Apostle.
That's still a weird claim after this line from Ella:
screenshot0002.png

She just a weird mutated superhuman, strong for sure, but no way she's from an Origin, the closest thing we have of one is Henri who refuses to embrace it.

Not having sex scene imagery on the introductory post doesn't really help me deciding to give the game a try. The amazing reviews do though.

Is anal a thing in the game or is it just like one scene for the tag?
It has everything, it's the most complete game on this site.

Just a little remark - I find it funny that Nyx' mark, the "reward" and "great boon" for any and all superhumans to save them from the death, saved MC from exactly fuck none of the possible deaths from that point onward. So either WW forgot abut that, or it's hardcoded to be used in specific plot point in the future. Or, it's not automatic and the body of the superhuman needs to be brought to Nyx for resurrecting, in which case it's literally useless for MC - if he's dead, then pretty much nothing of him is left to be shoveled back to her.
In the scene where he gets the mark it flashes and then disappears. She herself wasn't sure if it even stuck. It probably didn't, MC's body ate it or some shit.

Just play it, but remember that it's a story focused game, the porn is just icing on the cake. There's a few anal scenes yeah.

Why do we think Nyx has any connection to an Arbiter? I found the where the question of what the origins of Nyx's powers are was asked, and frankly what was said doesn't at all support the idea that she has any connection to an Arbiter. When asked if her powers came from an Apostle, an S rank monster or a weak monster, WeirdWorld simply confirms Nyx didn't get her powers from an Apostle, and beyond that to speculate on it ourselves. I can definitely see why some would latch onto that interpretation, considering how busted Nyx's powers are. But with Ella being able to identify what monster turned Nyx with the eyes she earned by completing a Rite, and the fact that it seems dual traits are a hard requirement for stuff like Soul, I heavily doubt it myself.

She probably does have some mixed lineage of Light and Darkness in her though. According to the speeches they give on the paths of god, they grant and end life respectively. But I'd guess she skews more towards Darkness, considering the anti-magic properties of her powers and having a natural connection to the Dream World with her little river Nyx of souls.

Yeah this is either a hearing comprehension moment or an assumption... I guess that could be taken to mean that her powers come from beyond the apostles, and I can see someone who's not paying full attention mixing up the sentence, but beyond that there's nothing concrete pointing to an arbiter background for her powers.

Yeah but the other guy is saying WW told him that her powers are beyond an apostle, that's a crazy claim because it means Nyx could be stronger than the big 3, or confirm that the big 3 can stomp the apostles as Nyx isn't as strong as them.

I seriously hope WW was just taking the piss there. And this whole arc's point? Fucked if I knew, idk what does Ella gain from starting this shitshow, get rid of the big 3 with the Apostles? Make the Eye be born so he can fuck everybody in the end? How does she expect it to work if HERO has the big 3 who, according to this claim, can literally stop it with the other Captains working together.

Sure earth is going to take a hit, might not even survive the aftermath, but then you have Henry who can literally say "Nope, earth is fine" and given his control of Truth and Fantasy he can make that happen. Nah fam, WW probably trolling.
As I said in my previous comment, everything Weird said could be a lie, he said it himself

So what he said may well be him joking, but let's leave that aside for now

When I asked him about the origin of Nyx's powers, he just said: “No, her powers don't come from an Apostle, but beyond that”.

It's up to us to speculate and make theories, he didn't say anything more than that

You can see that in what KKStrider sent above.

The bastard just admitted to me that Nxy's powers are, in fact, beyond an apostle's, their origin
Then phrase that shit better, you put that as Nyx's powers go beyond an Apostle's powers (as in surpassing these mfers). I ain't a native but it would've done wonders if you had come and said "Nyx's powers originate not from an Apostle line but from something beyond that", and even that is a weird claim with what Ella said about Nyx's monster. She's just a case similar to Malik and Bernie, though their monsters may be lower ranked, its still the same in the sense that her powers evolved beyond what that monster could do.

It's been stated that your monster parent has no bearing on how strong you become

Eh, from what I've seen I'm not sure I can agree. Yes, it has been said in game that your genes and mental state are the true deciding factors, but the narrative we are shown strongly implies the monster parent does have a strong influence. Like, we know that Michael is not genetically predisposed to Power, yet it was Power's avatar that gave him his powers. Similarly, the person Michael used as bait did indeed get powers similar to the monster that got him. We, the MC who are predisposed to both Body and Memory, were transformed by either of those Apostle's avatars. Deryl was transformed by the Rebis, and Kenny was transformed by one of those oil monsters. There is an incredibly strong correlation, despite the characters saying otherwise, between the monster that transforms you and the powers you get upon becoming a superhuman.

Kenny is the worst example you could have picked and nowhere near proving anything. The dude was some shithead, first off, and didn't exactly try to get stronger. He just got attacked and was too weak-willed to overcome turning into a monster.
It's not like he had been like that for months and did what he could to get stronger.
Dude was basically someone bitten during a zombie apocalypse : he turned shortly after, attacked, and got trashed.

Deryl showed that, despite his monster parent not being exactly one of the most powerful fighter there are, it's how you use your capabilities that matter. Had his plan gone without issue, he'd have probably overpowered the MC.

And the MC isn't a good example either, because Plot Armor.

As for Michael, there's a lot we don't yet know about his case, I'd say it's too early to tell much.
