What even counts as normal work? Only if other people tell you what to do and decide how much money you get from them?
Some people are so fucking braindead, being proud about being a lemming
To me normal work is what most people do to stay afloat.
Ofc there are exceptions, there are people who genuinely have a passion for jobs others do only as a chore, but for most people, they are just a way to stay afloat, sacrifice your time for something which doesn't light a spark of passion in your for the security of a stable, monthly income.
So my point is, if someone sacrifices that sense of security for something which has a risk of financial instability, but also actually makes them happy, then I have nothing but respect for that person.
I've personaly been in the service industry, I've been a dishwasher before that, I've been on a construction sites even earlier still. And now I have a career in the food industry with a stable and pretty well off income.
But does it genuinely stir my passion ? Fck no, if I had artistic talents, I for one would take a leap and abandon the security of monotony for the risky chance at something exciting.
