You know a game is good when someone who has only played it for 15 days is already going through withdrawal.

Really cool interpretation and name.Dark Adam. The reason might be offensive for someone, but the first time I played I had watched Hazbin Hotel and I couldn't help but see a cool parallel between MC and Ella with Adam and Eve, with Ella offering the pill (parallel to the apple) to MC, which changed his world. With all this, it came to me naturally. I also thought that MC would be the first superhuman, just like Adam being the first human, so there's this extra, and despite me being horribly wrong I think it's cool that my MC had a cocky mentality by thinking he's the first only to get humbled not much later.
I tend to get obsessed for a while after finishing any of my favorite media lol. But the cliffhanger has a lot to do with it. If I had caught up in the middle of the monster world arc, I wouldn't be waiting for an update so passionatelyYou know a game is good when someone who has only played it for 15 days is already going through withdrawal.![]()
You should be fine. Corruption hasn't been that important to the narrative yet, though there have been hints that will change eventually. The translated monster dialogue will never be particularly important, the MC needs actual education in the language and not just Corruption to get the nuances of the language. The MC will have the option to be more brutal in a few side events if your Corruption is high enough, and likewise a few events will cut off the option to show empathy if the MC's Corruption is too high. It's such a high cut-off that you won't reach it unless you're intentionally aiming for it, though, 40 Corruption.I've been referencing the thread as I play, and I see that a lot of people are doing either a full corruption/power run, or a 0 corruption/skill playthrough. Is that the way the story is meant to play out? Meaning, do I need to go all-in on either path in order to have the most enjoyable experience with the story/lore?
Right now my playthrough is focused on skill, but I am killing people though. My corruption's not super high (it's at 17, and I'm at the beginning of the Valravn arc), because I'm only killing people that try to do me harm.
But it feels like playing this way is going to cause me to miss out on a lot of things as I get deeper into the game. I already can't understand what the Apostle is telling me in my dreams, because my corruption is too low.
Corruption does not matter that much now and might probably never do except scene variants so dont worry about it. The full corruption or purity saves are just for people roleplaying!I've been referencing the thread as I play, and I see that a lot of people are doing either a full corruption/power run, or a 0 corruption/skill playthrough. Hmm, I don't think I need to see that insecure slut Lisa, or Elijah and his shonen MC shenanigans.I was wondering, in the next update, is there any character you feel like seeing is a waste of time or just don't want to bother with?
Not particularly. Outside of minor one-off characters, i guess. Like, I don't want to have another meeting with Amber/Liz's swimming sponsor, if you chose not to kill him.I was wondering, in the next update, is there any character you feel like seeing is a waste of time or just don't want to bother with?
Hahaha bro, the world is literally in the middle of an apocalyptic threat, why tf would we be meeting a fat swimming sponsor? Not particularly. Outside of minor one-off characters, i guess. Like, I don't want to have another meeting with Amber/Liz's swimming sponsor, if you chose not to kill him.
I was mostly on a minimum corruption playthrough. I think I only spared him once, all other playthroughs killed the dude.Hahaha bro, the world is literally in the middle of an apocalyptic threat, why tf would we be meeting a fat swimming sponsor?
And does this mean you didn't kill him? Hahaha this shit is too funny man, I totally forgot that guy even exist.
No, people just do that because it makes sense.I've been referencing the thread as I play, and I see that a lot of people are doing either a full corruption/power run, or a 0 corruption/skill playthrough. Using Michael is cheating. The guy is an overperformer, he's not "average people".Tell that to Michael.
I think I heard somewhere (in a stream probably) that MC's default name was supposed to be Adam, might be wrong thoDark Adam. Nah you don't understand the sheer pain of the regular cliffhangers we get here. This one is tame by comparison.I tend to get obsessed for a while after finishing any of my favorite media lol. But the cliffhanger has a lot to do with it. If I had caught up in the middle of the monster world arc, I wouldn't be waiting for an update so passionately
I think its real, and he's on a mission in outer space. Iirc, Malik goes around the planet looking for any remaining living beings, and he only pops the planet after he confirms that everyone they could get is out. He wouldn't be taking those measures if its just a fantasy. So I think HERO is doing some scifi nonsense with harnessing the power of the new born star. Maybe a Dyson Sphere/Ring weapon like Tony Stark was creating in Hickman's Avengers run.I dobut we are gonna see him a whole lot on the next update, so I'm gonna ask now.
Think Malik is on an Outer Space adventure for whatever reason or inside a Fantasy made by Aglaecwif?, I'll say the first option seem far more likely, but I expect either to be possible, especially since we last see him alongside her before his scene of him blowing up planets and making Stars.
For me I think it’s one of two things and they’re both a result of Aglaecwif’s power.I dobut we are gonna see him a whole lot on the next update, so I'm gonna ask now.

I was thinking that Nico is probably with him out there. Like, thats why he was looking for any survivors left and how he was getting them out safely. Malik didn't fly off into space on his own. Nico is teleporting out with him on some mission. If they were going to send someone to space it would be Nico since she can literally travel galaxies in a second, not Malik.
