There's almost certainly going to be a superhuman 2. There's way too much stuff to cram into the last few updates, if that were the case. We're definitely nowhere near done with this world.With everyone getting shortcuts to ambivalent powerlevels to lvl 5 (alice now, twins, deryl) i kinda fear there wont be a superhuman 2 now

Agreed. My crackpot theory is Superhuman: Part 1 ends with us stopping the ruination of our world, thus putting the cycle of monsters taking over worlds on pause. Superhuman: Part 2 would then be chasing after the apostles themselves (and other gods?) to put an end to monsters for good.

I don't think anyone has that much of a shortcut. They have paths to power that don't have the bottlenecks of evolution, but they're still going to have to put in a lot of work. Plus, the MC doesn't have one, he's still stuck figuring out how to evolve. Yeah, I think the conflict is going to be put on pause somehow. Not sure it will be because of us, but something will happen. A lot of what's happened the past couple of updates has had the feel of things building up to a time skip. Party members going separate ways, hinting at big revelations about the past, characters learning about potential ways to get much stronger, these are all things you see before a story goes on hiatus and then comes back with months to years of time having passed in-universe. And if we're going to get a time skip, there should be something to explain why we have the time to spare.

Yeah, by the end of the latest update I had around 721 power, 60 skill, and 24 corruption. I hope whatever took my MC’s power gives it back.

Oh, I didn't realize that. Reloading my latest save, I see it's 876 power. My bad, thanks for the heads-up.
Then again, you get like a 150 power boost once you get back to Earth at the end of the update, so it might not be that big of a deal. I think it was more a chance to trade leftover power for skill/money esp since the last 2 updates were the first time all game I had ever run out of money.
Could this possibly be Zack's vision of what happens to Earth without MC? They lose the war, Malik ends up destroying what's left of the Earth, and then moves on to destroy the Monster World (as we see in the satyr bad ends)
