My theory is that the big 3 are the ones who were never meant to reach their final evo. Because they are leagues stronger than they should ever be. The Berni literally 1v1 a CHOSEN and overpowered her. The same chosen that was toying with 2 level 5's like a joke. Level 5 is big but it doesn't feel like it should have even been this big for the big 3.

The games called Superhuman and takes a lot of inspiration from comic book universes. These guys are in the upper tiers of power of the setting, the planet busters, they need to be given the high tier or the threats, they act as the shield until the MC reaches a point in the story where they can make a difference. Not all level 5's are going to be equal, same as not Chosen. The gap between someone whose been level 5 longer than the other 2 have been alive is also likely many times great than any other gap.

As powerful as the big 3 are, as rare as they are, I don't think there anything that hasn't been seen in some form before, Aglæcwif has mentioned this as all happened before on who knows how many worlds, they resist, humanity gets overwhelmed, and Superhumans who don't join the monsters eventually die.

After the last update, I'm thinking the big difference this time around is what Syla has done, awakening to her own humanity and then doing that for some of the other monsters.

Okay, so like I advised, I made no early game purchases from Shopkeep. It doesn't really matter, you can't make enough money in the early game to really impact your purchasing potential given the high costs of later options, but might as well save it. That does mean that you can spend money on the things that give you relationship points (helping out Amber, paying for breakfast with Emily) without it impacting things, though.

Once the stat booster shop opens up, your budget matters. Unless you took Tiffany's money option, the most money you'll get will be from H.E.R.O. payouts. You'll get $3000 total for successfully hunting the Gorgon and Asura, and the S.I.N. ceremony infiltration pays out depending on the route you take. Assuming you did everything perfectly, you'll get $38000 if you stayed in the tournament and $49000 if you dropped out. I dropped out, so I had $52000 to play with. Actually, since I had left over from early game, it was $53060, but that doesn't super matter. Like I said, the extra isn't enough to afford anything I wouldn't have.

I bought the Spine and Vertebra from Shopkeep. I think that's a better use of the money than buying Power, because if you skipped Tiffany's money option for the Power option, you'd get +30 power and all Shopkeep's stuff combined only gives +15. The Spine is +3 Skill for $12000, and the Vertebra is +1 for $6000. Budget is down to $35000. That's exactly how much the Vortex Stone ($15000, I said $12000 earlier but that was me misremembering) and Raffle Ticket ($20000) cost combined. Probably that's deliberate. Having the Vortex Stone and Spine together unlocks an option with the Vestige that costs 1 Skill, but gets your choice of lore or a futher +3 Skill, so I think it's worth it.

And then at Shopkeep's Power shop, I spent the full 30 Power to buy the Shapeshifter's Heart and get +3 Skill. Maybe that's a mistake, we'll see, that's what save scumming is for.

I've already replayed this game around five or six times, and I'll probably need to do so a few more times in the upcoming updates depending on how the choices play out. Makes me wonder if we're gonna have extremely hyperspecific conditions for certain outcomes, what with all of these stat and money manipulations we have available.

The Love option sets a flag and gives us +1 point with Tiffany, besides that we don't know if it will affect our relationship with Tiffany later, and the Marry Claudia option is maybe a joke, but we actually saw us marriying her on the Time Dream event

Glae said that in reference to the process of invasion, occupation and finally defeat of humanity, that's a fact, but I think you are underestimating the power than Superhumans may be able to achieve, on the previous human planet, that is currently the Monster World, existed the Great Lord and Great Queen respectively, on this last update, is stated that the latter was something different, she began as a Spawn, but eventually grew to something new, of course they lost in the end still, but is talked like something exceptional.

Bernhardt, Malik and Henri seem to be the same, the Eye describe them as aberrations, things that shouldn't exist, and is even a surprise they were left to grow to their current strength, not mention the dead end 49 Even without the MC intervention, the times goes on, eventually the Monster World is destroyed completely, along the whole solar system it exist within, with a battle to decide the fate of the universe following, that's for all we know, something that has never happen before, an Spawn taking the battle to them, and dragging it to such scale, meaning that either Malik, Henri and Bernhardt are indeed, exceptions, along probably some others within HERO.

Though I do agree with you, Syla has created the foundation to a true change, but is probably not just that, is a more likely than not, the blend of a bunch of factors, the heavy hitters individual power, Syla's changing the heart of Aos and in consequence a bunch other Monsters, whatever is Ella's plan, Deus, that guy seem to seeing things of a larger scale than this current 'cycle' and of course the MC, all variables that together might be just what's needed to a true change.

WW also constantly lies to hide future plot twists and I don't believe that bs for a single millisecond. There is a reason why natural 5th evolutions are extremely dangerous and why only 3 survived them.

None of which changes the facts that a natural 5th evolution is extremely dangerous and that nobody outside of those 3 survived it...there is no such thing as a normal 5th evolution obtained naturally. We also know for a fact that monsters want supehumans to reach the 5th evolution to claim them but none of the serum evolved 5ths have been claimed...almost certainly because a serum 5th is viewed as weak and a failure as far as the monster patrons are concerned. So yeah, natural 5th evolutions are something else and vastly more powerful than serum 5ths...because a superhuman must face extreme dangers to achieve it and must be incredibly strong to survive it.

I personaly do think the big three are singular in history.
Why ? Because the Eye in it's second Evolution says :
'' The fact that three such aberations could exist at once is unfathomable''.
'' The fact that they were allowed to thrive is inconceivable''.

This sentence likely stems from the Eye remembering in a flash of memories how the system works, and has worked for time uncountable. Apostles claim their avatars before these become so ludicrously powerful and before they can oppose and resist them.
Aglae is old, but if the Eye is what the theories claim then it is far more ancient and knowledgable, even with it's memories in fragments. So the fact that it seemed so baffled by their existence tells me superhumans of their caliber have not existed before, and if they have then certainly not three at the same time.

Alice in her current form demolishes Mc, for he has nothing to protect him from these gravity and dark energy attacks, he could keep regenerating, but Alice definitely has more energy to spare so in a battle of stamina she wins either way.

Michael's level 2 form was extraordinary, I believe much more powerful than a normal level 2 would be able to be. Counting the trials he has done, and how a level 3's power works, Mc has not much of an opportunity against him. Besides, in a battle where the two of them has the same power, Michael is still many times more skilled in physical combat AND his radiation thing seemed to fuck with Mc's regen EVEN in level 1, imagine a lv3, Michael could even hypothetically stop Mc's shapeshifting if he gets close enough and that means no regen, Mc's cooked.

Liz and Amber are definitely more power than any lv1 is supposed to have. They seemed very dangerous even to a Lv3 Mc, and we don't know what powers will they have if they evolve. Two lv2's in one body? With those kind of abilities they have? Yeah they are a danger to most physical Superhumans.

Deryl is also a Lv3, and we could argue that it would be equal a fight between him and Mc. But considering that Deryl is a genius, their power level is very similar, and Deryl knows how to fuck with Mc's abilities probably better than anyone, I'd like to give Deryl the edge on this one. It's like a Batman vs Superman but if Batman was a Superhuman with the ability to create gadgets on the spot to support his plans.

I think Mc is staying a little bit behind, for his memory powers are not as strong as Syla's and he can't make others forget their most potent abilities. And his shapeshifting is very strong until he finds an opponent with similar power and similar skill, it makes him harder to kill, but it's harder for Mc to kill if we compare him with the flashy moves of his teammates.

We haven't seen him in a serious solo fight in a while, lately its been tag teams against far superior opponents, so its a bit hard to say. However one thing to keep in mind is that even with how much stronger they seemed at level two, level three is where the power cap gets lifted and MC has been there for quite a while longer than either Alice or Michael. In his conversation with Ella this update we also learn that he's finally reached the threshold of transformation speed and fluidity that Ella tasked him with, so his powers haven't exactly been stagnant either even if he didn't get a flashy new killing move. He probably has somewhat of a chance if he takes the unglamorous route of victory by attrition, using his tail clones as decoys and baiting out high energy draining attacks. Still probably low because those two seem to be a bad matchup for him.

With Deryl you have to keep in mind that even in his own words he's not as suited to direct combat as the others. He's good with specific preparation, probably even better than the mc, but he has no hope of hiding traps against your memory powers and MC can face down his combat mech just fine. He'd need to 3v1 with his chimeras to be superior imo.

In meta terms I also feel like we're overdue for a fourth evolution. And as I'm writing this, one thing that occurred to me is that MC's ability to transform others could also have improved with his recent focus on transformation training. The barrier to using it in combat is that the enemy will innately fight you off with their natural power (though I wonder if Memory could bamboozle those innate defenses). But MC's raw power stat is probably greater than anyone else in the group barring Ella, so it's potentially feasible for combat use. Doesn't need to be an all or nothing kill move that transforms a lot at once to work, imagine a blow to the face that fuses the enemy's eyes shut or just pinches off a blood vessel. That's all headcanon mind you, but it would be a cool incorporation of Body abilities to give him a chance against certain opponents.

I think the MC just lacks the battle autism that Michael and Alice have. They're hyper-fixated on how to maximize their battle stratagems and damage output. If Michael had the MC's powers, he would've most likely reached Level 3 much sooner than the MC did.

Maybe but we've seen Aglæcwif deal both indirectly and directly with Malik and she wasn't quaking in her boots. She's the one whose mentioned that she's seen this all before and predicts that it will all play out as it has in the past.

But my biggest reason is story logic, unless 1 or more of the big 3 end up being the big bad, there's going to be a bigger fish, I would put money on Indra being more powerful than any of them individually, he was probably the Bernhardt of his world.

Alice and Michael definitely have flashy and destructive moves, but MC isn't necessarily lagging their either, like when he matched Cole's heat beam that touched the clouds above with his own giant scythe move, and was even able to beat it and shatter a good part of the surrounding architecture if he passed a Power check. True. We've seen so much about Alice, Michael, Amber and Liz that it looks like Deryl and Mc are being overshadowed. We could say they got their big moment in Cole's fight but that felt more like Cole's big moment, you know, evolution, power ups, glimpses of his past.

I just NEED Deryl and Mc once again in the spot light just like in old times in next update.
