Considering the fact that Ella was able to push back Nico who is considered the strongest lieutenant barring Henry, I think it's safe to say she is stronger than most if not all lieutenants, again barring henry, making her the sixth or seventh strongest superhuman on the planet. When you consider all of that, and malik still rapidly figures out the rules of her shifting trick, and nearly curb stomps her, I think it's safe to say any battle he fights against a potential peer will likely be all kinds of explosive.

I mean, Nico was overall on equal footing with Ella, even with her main gimmick(teleport others to the core of the Sun) restricted, and Nico's ability to just send off anything into space is the reason she's the most dangerous lieutenant beyond Henri, something that I think plays a role here, is that Superhumans, barring outliers, often win or lose depending on compatibility, Nico could probably win against Kira easily just by sending her to Space, but at the same time, Ella would have a hard time even injuring Kira.

About Malik, yeah, he's clever despite how explosive can get with his emotions, he's not just a nova with consciousness, I hope we get to see him fighting something as strong/stronger than himself before the ending, be it Indra/Glae, full power Valravn, the Qliphoth or an Apostle.

I want to watch theory videos, gameplay content, and react to it all on YouTube. I want to browse Reddit and see new memes almost every day. I want to see fanart of the original monsters. I want to read fanfics.

Speaking of fanfics... just imagine the community coming up with gems like:

• What if the MC was swapped with X?
• What if the monster world invaded the universe of Y? (Games, anime, comics...)
• What if Z (a character from an anime, game, etc.) was in this world?

I wanted to as well, but since it's 18+, there's no way around it... I actually showed my brother the Twelve Apostles system, and he got really intrigued, said it reminded him of Lovecraft and stuff. But I kinda dodged the question when he asked where it was from... Sometimes I think about telling him, but we don’t really talk about our private lives, and he doesn’t share much with me either, so it just feels weird. I imagine that’s probably the same kind of vibe if big YouTubers ever made a video about it or something.

She was, the reason Ella's real body was buried underneath the ground was to prevent Nico from being able to teleport her into the sun. Plus Duncan got defeated pretty quickly during the fight and the level 4 was forced to retreat just after that as well.

I just don't think Nico is comparable to Ella, combat-wise. For all intents and purposes, Nico was stalling and incapable of beating Ella by herself. Even with support from at least one person who should be somewhat relative to a level 5, Nico wasn't able to win.

I just don't think Nico is comparable to Ella, combat-wise. For all intents and purposes, Nico was stalling and incapable of beating Ella by herself. Even with support from at least one person who should be somewhat relative to a level 5, Nico wasn't able to win.

Now I believe the intent was to show Ella ultimately had the edge, but it went on too long to be one sided with Ella's inner thoughts showing it wasn't toying around even with Nico wounded after the surprise attacl, she was trying to kill Nico and was having difficulty.

i don't think it was sheer speed or sticking herself in the ground abut was actually more because the ella nico was targeting wasn't actually ella but just a tentacle which was protruding from her big body she had hidden underground.

Im not gonna lie, I don't remember if Ella's main body was underground since the start of the fight, but even assuming it was, this tentacle has been described as being so fast that Nico couldn't follow its movements, and Nico failed to get it with her portals over and over and over again.

i mean that's not really a counter to teleportation that's more a counter to portals and nico herself plus if nico had enough reaction time and hand to eye coordination she could've maybe teleported ella but its also confusing why ella was running from the portals at all when if her body was underground that entire time then she could've just kept attacking nico with nico basically being a sitting duck and ella could've easily joined her disciples and ran.

I think you need to go reread the fight because you seem to be confusing durability and regeneration, Ella was surviving with that. By her own words Nico nearly killed her with a portal that opened up in the sun for but a moment. but she managed to escape in time and surprise her.

She survived Malik's attacks by regenerating, his basic attack cut clean through her, Malik quickly figures out he just needs to either wipe everything out at once or wear her down, it was her regeneration that allowed her to survive, which we know fully well is not unlimited. Given that she nearly died to a split second portal, if she was in the sun, her only option is to use that ability to prevent change and pray someone else saves her before she runs out of power.

What I'm trying to say is that Ella is stronger, Ella is faster, Ella is more skilled, and Nico has the perfect power to hang on to the fight and/or bring support, as well as to keep the support alive.

Regeneration isn't durability, but just like MC, Ella can massively enhance her durability if she's willing to sacrifice agility, without really sacrificing regeneration. Which, in the case she's sent to the sun, would obviously help her survive.

She can't regenerate forever, but she doesn't need to. She only needs to leave the sun. Which, again, she probably won't even reach in the first place, considering she dodged Nico's portals with relative ease.

Also, I reread the fight.

"A blast many times greater than the detonation of the largest nuclear bombs" Is something incomparably superior to the heat of even the core of the sun. A nuke, for a franction of a second, reaches around six times more heat than the core of the sun. This was supposedly many times that (many probably being more than four), and not for a fraction of a second.


Ella tanked this and instantly attacked Nico. After this, Nico is severely injured, Ella collapses to the ground and heals to full in less than a second.

After that, Malik comes to help Nico. So, realistically, this is how this all would go. We already saw it happening, and in a circumstance where Nico had an advantage.

i mean we can still theorize about those heck i think there's even a section for it in the socials. so yeah but it would be even better if there was a version where we could control the mc from first person and fight the enemies ourselves in a story that follows this one but with more options to change our body.

If she had to worry about the entirety of the sun's power damaging while also trying to shapeshift her body to escape the sun's gravity and return to Earth, she simply would most likely fail.

Ella can deal with temperatures higher than the sun's core by willing her shapeshifting power to maintain her form, but that also leaves her unable to move or risk changing her form to leave her exposed to injury, since both moving and being injured count as changes to her form.

Malik's "Core Heat" attack was described as "heat so intense that it warps gravity itself", even breaking down Hexenringe's dimension momentarily. It was also described as "infinite heat", tho I believe this is hyperbole as Malik has even stronger attacks.

Ella was able to escape this attack because it was concentrated into a pillar around her body and then took the chance to capture some hostages to delay Malik's continuing his attacks. She would not have this luxury against the sun as it is fucking massive and its gravity would be actively keeping her in place.

Imo Ella's chance of survival would be to have obtained enough spare mass to shapeshift herself into something that can resist the sun better while also using that mass to make herself into something like a biological rocket ship or a sling to shoot herself out of the sun's orbit, leaving the rest of the spare biomass to be consumed by the sun.

Also, even if she can momentarily survive with her healing, she has to traverse from the core to outer space where she's finally safe from the sun's fire and heat. I really doubt she has the speed to get out before depleting her power reserves. Its a huge distance to cover while constantly being incinerated and healing.

Ella did move during Nico's sun blast thing, seeing as she attacked Nico while it was going on. That means she either tanked it without blocking out the change to her body, albeit for a few moments, or that she can, to a certain extent, block things out while maintaining movement.

Whether or not she could replicate this while escaping from the sun is debatable, which is why I brought the screenshots and math. If she managed to survive and immediately recover from what might very well be at least twenty times the resting heat of the sun's core, I think one could argue she'd be able to survive the sun's actual core for a while.

Then again, I don't think she'd get caught in Nico's portals regardless.
