Sorry about that, wasnt my intention to start anything serious, just memeing a bit. Maybe the incongruity just doesnt hit for me, the game has always been categorized as basically Shonen in my head and the mountain mammaries are thus par-for-course to me.
Huh. Maybe I should read more of those.

that's not how versioning works regardless, after 0.99 normally it's 0.100
lol no, its done intentionally.
If the goal was to keep updates numbered it would simply say update 99 , patch 100.
People are far more likely to check games that seem to be far in development. That is why the numbers get manipulated like this. Lets compare numbering of couple of first vs latest patches
0.1
0.2
0.23
0.31
0.32
0.43
0.51
…..
0.976
0.98
0.981
0.982
0.985
0.986
0.99
0.991

What why would it go down to version 0.1 again?
Versions aren't real numbers so 0.100 isn't the same as 0.1.
However this depends on what versioning scheme the developer uses. There isn't any definitive standard.

WW's versioning system is almost non existent and the numbers don't carry any semantics. 0.90 to 0.99 is more than half the game for example.

Jake spoilers I guess idk

I really wish there was a way to kill Jake without consuming him. It's clearly possible, given all the people the MC has killed, even with attacks directly through the brain, without absorbing their brain nuggets or gaining any corruption, and it's not just because Jake's superhuman either, right? It's supposed to be just killing in general that corrupts you.

I just think killing him is an entirely justifiable action, given what he's capable of and what he was very clearly planning to do, that is, literal world domination through mental slavery, and I hate that there's no way to off him without the game assuming it's a result of the corruption getting the better of MC for a moment. Sure, H.E.R.O. would've stopped him, but MC didn't know that. I also hate that you go a bit psycho about it when you fix Mia's memories. A single point of corruption wouldn't make MC that unhinged. It would've been nice if an MC who killed Jake, but has otherwise low corruption would instead try to justify his actions instead of going all "he's inside of me now :)". Sure, Mia would still be upset, but then maybe that branch could lead to her forgiving MC eventually or at least acknowledging his reasons.
