The dev is an absolute machine, his work pace is pretty much unmatched in the genre.
Ryukishi07 finished all 8 chapters of Umineko in 3 years and he also wrote all alone. I think the entire Superhuman until now is at least 2 chapters of Umineko worth of text. But yeah WeirdWorld is above average when is about work pace in a VN, especially since he draw a lot of nice art for the game too.

Also, does Umineko have the same level of lore and character depth?

The level of lore and character depth of Umineko is higher than Superhuman, it's the strongest point of Umineko. Especially since is a finished story, when you look back you feel it was worth. It also have their shonen moments but in this aspect Superhuman is better.

But please, don't watch the anime. They butchered the story too much and only made half of the story because it was poorly received. And is indeed bad. The VN is the best experience, if you don't have time the manga is the better alternative.

Alright, mine was a genuine question as I never actually even knew of it. I'm happy to hear of its existence, might try it out some time

I meant more in regards to the WEG genre, where devs taking 3 years to add a scene is a running joke, though I guess it feels odd to put Superhuman there given that a lot of people read (unironically) it for the plot.

Yes, that scene with Ella is a 4th wall joke referring to the player. Hence why there's six * there. I never got why people thought it was censoring something in game. It was pretty direct at telling us outside of the game to train or we're going to die in the Kenny fight.

There are at least 3 different lines so far by count. And I'm pretty sure he said he wants Jared dead at one point. There were 4 *

Huh, a comic that's similar you say? I may have to check that out. Thanks for the info.
I don't know if I would say similar in that way. Just that particular scene with the fourth wall break. Otherwise, Death is just vibing and doing her job as death of all things. She's not plotting or anything like Ella. They're very different in storytelling.

Guys lets get our Mid Piece hat theory on. To whom does the Clown owe his powers from? Is it the 9th apostle? Is it the apostle daddy Order, or something else we are unsure about. GET YOUR THEORIES WILD BOYS!:eek::eek::eek:

Well, given that he can manipulate reality at will, naturally dream-delves every time he sleeps and is referred to being an inheritor of a divine power, I would assume he is a combination of Truth and Fantasy, thus being a Paradox-spawn. Truth being used to manipulate tangible reality, and Fantasy beign used to manipulate the immaterial world.

Also, his supernatural energy is magenta and lime green, which are the colors of the Truth and the Fantasy's avatars. Eisheth and Aglaecwif have those colors for their respective energies, too. It doesn't necessarily mean something, Apostle colors don't always match their spawn, but it's a common trend and adds support to the idea that Henri has Paradox.

Furthermore, the Origin-MC describes Henri as "Ascendant, yet still unborn". Being "born" is also what the Eye calls his takeover of the MC.
