My superhero name is Venom, and I've seen others name him like that, as for MC's they're always named after me or the most generic ones I could think of, Jack Johnson/John Jackson

Since the main character seems to be a combination of Alex Mercer (prototype), and Jackie Estacado (The Darkness), I decided to name him Jack Mercer.

For the superhero name, i just chose something edgy and goth, didnt put much thought into it. I chose Darklight.

I named my MC Logan Mercer, mostly due to same reasons as you, except I have never read the Darkness comics. I instead picked his first name due to him having a similar healing factor to Wolverine.

As for the hero name, I picked Typhon, the King of Monsters because thats what I want my MC to be. Give him a throne made out of the bones of his enemies and a gaggle of hoes around it, I will accept nothing less.

Yes he has emotions at times but emotional or particualry angry considering what he experiences is really the last thing i woud characterize him with lol

I named him(as a hero) Chernobog, by the Slavic God, i don't break my head naming things, but i wanted something fitting for the dark aesthetic without being very forward

MC certainly got the worst of it, but they were both provoking each other. MC literally started the feud IIRC by scaring off the girl Deryl was having sex with, and then informing Amber about his infidelity(?). If that was bullying, then it was mutual bullying, which is why Liz and Amber didn't pick sides. It wasn't entirely clear who was in the wrong.


My point was that even if you like emotional distance, you might still prefer Liz over Tiffany, since you didn't seem to think that made sense.
And MC is more like Liz than he is other people. I think part of Liz's character development is, if she hasn't already (I don't remember if she's displayed any signs of that), going to be about becoming driven to get stronger, not just for Amber but because she enjoys fighting and growing. Just like the MC.

Others have already addressed the first point well enough.

The whole emotional distance thing can work, it works for Tiffany, because the MC responds the way you would expect, he finds her interesting and hot, but there's never a hint of love.

The problem with Liz is we are told the MC is in love with her, and sure they could add backstory to show how that came about, but we are just told it without feeling it, it's the sort of thing you needed to have seen to get and the flashback we have seen doesn't do the whole relationship any favors, I would better believe him and Deryl falling for each other. We understand how Alice, (who seems indifferent on the surface) and him get together because there's build up.

Man, I hope the update comes out soon, because people are going crazy! Out of nowhere there's a hell of a discussion about bully and Deryl whether or not he's a son of a bitch, like, okay! It's just another topic, a conversation about this beautiful game, but out of nowhere people started getting emotional

I love Ella, for me she's a good character who falls in love and opens up to us as we get stronger, instead of that boring old blind passion. There are a lot of opinions about her that I don't agree with, but so what? I give my points and life goes on

Having re-read the Battle of the Diamonds, i just catched the fact that Malik would surely be able to kill Ella, like, he would 100% toast her, no discussion.

Just before Nyx step on, Malik was about to attack her with his own Planck move, like the one Berni used to erase the Eye, if that killed the latter(and I think is safe to assume both attacks would be roughly equal, but one with heat and the other with pressure as nature)I have no dobut Malik's attack would have be enough to erase Ella from existence. But that also open a question, isn't Malik a bit to emotional?, since Bern thanked the Eye to leave Earth before using his Plack Pressure against him, since that shit would clearly be a game over for at very least all life on a continent if not that of the whole planet's surface, and i'm sure Malik's is even more harmful for living beings, since heat would have a more general effect on space than pressure, Malik get so worked up that didn't thinked on that until Nyx talked him down.

Beyond that, i still want to believe his and Berni's attacks just were named that way by the sake of 'radness', because if not, and those two fuckers can actually produce Planck Heat/Pressure, then are even more freaks of nature than they themselves might understand, especially Malik, if he can actually produce heat that high, even if Nico somehow teleport him at the center of the Sun, he would just feel warm IF anything.

Bad news, mainly for me, but also maybe for you guys.

Due to some environmental fuckery, power has been out at my house for almost the past week. No internet, no electricity, it's a bloody nightmare. I've got my laptop to do some shit, but since I got no power it's a pain in the ass to fckn charge. All this to say, I've basically done fuck all in recent days.

I've had to *GAG* go outside and *RETCH* socialize, talk to people and shit, because that's basically all I got to do. I swear another week of this shit and I'll be married with 3 kids.

Don't know when my shit gets turned back on. Hopefully soon since the danger has passed, but yeah, I got right fucked this time. So, is march still on the table? Idk, maybe, depends when my power comes back. Prob not gonna be updating the sprites or anything, I'll just focus on getting shit out.

The best that can be hoped for if those names are literal is that Malik is confident he can control the heat flow of his flames to keep the energy from spreading. Realistically that wouldn't actually make things better, physics says a lot of very bad things happen if you condense that much energy into one place. But maybe the physics-breaking Malik got at level 4 lets him ignore those. If not...then yeah, either way, Malik was probably going to destroy the world with that attack. Between that and him blowing up a warehouse with Lexi inside just because Aglaecwif mentioned something about his past he didn't like, it seems Malik does not handle frustration well. Not a good trait for someone with that much power.

Or maybe the Planck attacks are just hyperbole. I agree, I want those to not be literal. It's just such a massive escalation from everything else we've seen if those names are literal. Malik and Bernhardt are side characters, it's unlikely that they'll be what ultimately defeats the monsters. That's on the MC and his friends. If we've got to get even stronger than those two, then I hope for sanity's sake that they're not really that powerful. For us to go beyond them...it would get pretty wild.
