I mean, Elijah don't really has anything going on for him, all jokes aside.

Malik already fill the 'Good Guy' role within HERO far better, not to mention how he is more powerful, has a more interesting design and seem far better as a character with his inner turmoil and apparent trauma. Hell even Clark is more pleasant than Elijah, and he is overall a nice guy as well.

I like him.
Malik is very different, he knows of the dark side of HERO, dislikes and rejects it, opposes it often, but still is more realistic and open to the fact that some of it is necessary for the greater good.

Elijah on the other hand is hopelessly idealistic, he is naive in a way Malik and even Clark are not, almost childish, he takes their name in the most literal way possible, heroes, as shown in his fight against Eisheth, he did not want to compromise, he wanted to save everyone even if it was hopeless, and in the end in order to achieve the outcome with the least casualties he chose to abandon his pride and call Bernhardt.

He is ''good'', in a kind of pure, uncomprimising way.

I know it's dumb in the grand scheme of things, but I genuinely like having his type of character in a story as dark as this, even if it is only to see them get beaten black and blue by reality, it's a nice contrast, they make the universe seem more diverse.

I wholeheartedly agree!

And to add to this, even if it would equal a bad outcome if someone like Elijah and his ideals would be leading hero at this point in time because of his naivety and idealism, its still good to have these kind of hopelessly idealistic (i love that wording lol) people among a group.

They probably shouldnt be in charge of the direction but its good when they are able to at least somewhat influence it and offset the more morally questionable directions like that.

Basically: Its good to have a Elijah for every Xanthe in your group.

It is in progress. The reason the version number is so close to v1.0 is because the creator didn't understand how to use version numbers until he hit like 0.8. Expect to see v0.9995, v0.9999, v0.99995, and v0.99999 before we see v1.0.
I am aware of that.
I meant, is this update fully fleshed out, or will it be like previous beta updates wherein the power gains aren't properly adjusted and certain scenes haven't been implemented?

The public release is out on patreon.

v0.999 Public Release

Yo, public release is out. Nothing worth noting about it other than a couple of fixes.

While I was showering a question hit me (All questions hit me when I'm going to shower Idk why.)

Do we REALLY know what an Evolution is? I mean it can't be so simple as just stages of Superhuman's growth, I feel like it has to be more than that. Because yes, Evo gives you power, but from where? Superhuman are only able to create energy out of nothing when they reach lv4 and I'm not even sure that energy means literally power. Evolution are not only physical events like growing from child to adult, it gives a fuckton of mystical vibes even if you're the most physical Superhuman. Evo freshens your connection with your Apostle, does that mean the Apostle from your line is the one giving you the power through Bluetooth? So.. that means that Superhuman's that can't evolve are just not worth the energy from their Apostle?

And having to complete trials to reach your fifth means Evo is authorized by the Apostle?
