I'll be joining you guys since I finished the latest version and man, I love this game so much, the art didn't even bother me at the beggining since I was kind of tired of DAZ and HS but it gets so good while still been it's own thing, it's so awesome to se WW improving as I played, hope those sprites don't get lost cause they're special, made me fell in love with the story and characters. Alice is a treasure BTW.

Yo. Hi there. How's it been going for you guys?
For me, it's been pretty busy. Balancing remaking the game for 1.0 and working on the update is a tough balance, it's the main reason I haven't been doing anything with the youtube channel really, but I think I'm slowly getting a comfortable workflow going.
Been doing a good bit of rewriting for this coming update too, for those wondering, it's not 1.0, there's still a bit of time before we get there. But the coming update will build up a lot of shit that's gonna be resolved. Some of you might've seen the character updates I've been doing, there'll be more to show somewhere down the line, though next week I think will be the h-scene poll, since I'm getting closer to the stage where I start doing the sex scenes. Got some pretty good ones lined up, but there's room for one or two more. Let me know the themes you wanna vote on in the poll, I'll consider them.
Still no idea when the game will come out, still a lot to be done, but we're getting there. Oh, and while I've got you here, why don't you also let me know some of the things you're most looking forward to doing now that we're back on earth.

So this remaking the game WW is doing. Is it just redrawing scenes, or also altering and rewriting them?
I'll probably do a replay later anyways, but I'm curious if it'll be necessary because of story changes made as we move into the sequel.

Aside from redrawing, I believe he's said he will also change how the stats work and/or give more stat points, and also add content. He heavily recommended replaying once 1.0 comes out, and even considered/is considering forcing a replay by making saves incompatible.

Yes to all of the above. It's been mentioned on streams that WW is redoing sprites right now, will do scenes and backgrounds once the time comes to go all in on 1.0 dev, and will also be rewriting scenes and possibly altering existing content to better align the lore and story with what he currently has. Stuff like MC celebrating his 19th birthday at the beginning instead of his 18th, and making the sex scene with Ella in the dead end being outside of it, as well as editing Ella's actions and personality slightly to be better in line with her later appearances.

That makes a lot of sense, actually, because Alice said something about Shopkeep trying to sell her dad another fossil than just the finger, one than increased fertility. So the Minyaks being exposed to a fossil of that type (or even the same one, depending on when Shopkeep procured it) is quite possible.
