The comparison is actually pretty sensible. Indra and Zeus are cultural cognates of each other, due to both India and Greece having been influenced by the tribes traveling in the Indo-European migration in ancient times. There are a lot of thunder gods across Europe and Asia that have similar traits, though anthropologists actually consider Indra and Thor to be closer in their legends than Indra and Zeus. Still, they're not unrelated. They're both heavenly kings, they're both associated with cattle, they both wield throwing weapons, and they both fought a giant monster with snake features. Zeus fought Typhon, while Indra fought Vritra. So it's kind of an appropriate name. The MC being named Typhon would at least put him in the right mythological territory, if not exactly on target.

If we're going for mythological lore accuracy, MC's hero name should be Proteus, because he's a god of the Sea and rivers (MC is a seahuman descendant) and also a shapeshifter (the word Protean is derived from his name, I believe).

I'm replaying the game and I have a question for you all since I think the Wiki may be wrong:
On Dead End 23: A Deal is a Deal, the wiki says:

However, replaying this section the dialogue says:
However, the dialogue here seems to imply that rather than Shopkeep killing you, he scolds us and tells us to deal with "the consequences". This is further cemented by the MC dialogue trying to discern what the package has inside, and then screaming.
Unrelated to my main point but still food for thought: What if the package is a skull fossil? The skull-splashscreen certainly supports this as well as how heavy the package is described, and would make sense too, since as Ella said the fossils can corrupt living beings AND shopkeep tells us to "try better next time" and to again, "deal with the consequences", which in terms of rapid corruption a LV2 MC without prior warning may not take it well.

being corrupted that much and loosing control of it is considered death since you loose yourself and cant be brought back

Mc's mum is Syla, not Scylla. Her mythological reference is the sila/silat, shapeshifters who are said to (among other things) seduce men and marry men, and even bear their children.

wow then it's a good thing i paused the game, i paused it because i didn't had much time but now i want to wait for version1.0.1 (never play at release, always wait for the day 1 patch)
so far the game did build up a lot of interesting lore and plots and i want to see how they play out the way the dev want them to play out now that they have more experience or a better idea on how the game is going to end
i have a question for the dev even if i don't know if he will read it
will you create side games within this universe, i believe that the world you created has soooo much potential to evolve into a franchise with other games independent from this game and characters, from a game where you play as a Normal person who gets pushed into the world of superhumans without ever gaining powers yourself, to someone who doesn't just try to survive but to thrive within it as some boss of a criminal organisation etc. i'm sure you could think of so much more ideas for seperate games
of course all of this is far in the future, right now you are finishing this game and from what i heard there is also a potential sequel to this game

to kind answer your question what we know so far superhuman was supposed to be a test game that blew up
and he is planning on a necromancer, vampire, and I think demon games
now he does say he lies on things about superhuman but that is typically spoilers/lore related questions
