Hell, might as well just make a sequel when he returns then. No point in leaving the game in that state if you're gonna end the arc anyway and won't be returning for a while. There is no problem in leaving some loose ends if they are planned to be addressed in a sequel.
Michael failed the ritual, but maybe he'll undergo back to back evolutions off-screen. Come back as a level 5 for the big war. Its super rare, but we do know it is possible.

Most likely, yeah. The long con is almost certainly an Apostle/Arbiter war, as that's what appears to be the set-up, all things considered. And the Black Moon ritual appears to be focused on giving the Apostles long term bodies to inhabit, or at least that's my guess. So this update is about the Apostles finally coming to Earth in full form, and the sequel is going to focus on the ramifications of that. Idk, there's a lot that can happen in these few updates.

WW's comments about working on other games were before he decided to split the game in two (which was mostly because of the fucked up version numbering). He never said he's going to take a break between Superhuman 1 and 2 to work on another game.

Yeah, I don't know why people are tripping. He says way into the future he would like to make some games, one about a necromancer and another about vampires. This is more of a steam release; remake the intro part oportunity. Would be good to sell in steam too.
