I mean, I get you, Alice being able to just hide her monster form all together take some weight from her transformation, but I don't think she looking as Human-like, just with some extra stuff is all that bad. She's a Daoine Sidhe, a Fairy-like species, and all the members of that species are fairly pleasant to the eye, Aos and Danu being the most obvious examples.

Could be as simple as Briar not having enough power to repair a level 4 body and replace the massive energy drain cole was experiencing. Since superhuman power derives from their own lifeforce when it gets too low its possible that briar as a level 3 couldnt stabilize a much more powerful superhuman

I don't think that's an issue really, Briar healed Ella a lot when she and the wards jumped Valravn, and Ella as a level four during that moment should be far more powerful than a Cole fresh on the same level, but on the verge of death.
I mean, Cole hate MC, but it could be boil down to a that's that and this is this type situation, Cole's a sociopath who is trigger happy as far we know, has no qualms killing common humans just to make a point, but he's clearly not up for torture(unless is someone he hate a ton, I guess.) when he see the state Liz and Amber were, he was gonna kill them as a sort of mercy, he even tell them two as much, and call Tanos a sick fuck, it makes complete sense that he would explain to MC that he didn't mutilated the Twins even if he planned on killing him.
Because they were fighting against Valravn, a restrained one but far more powerful than the one MC defeated, his Miasma would weaken Ella's body trait.
Doesn't it only weaken non-physical powers like memory and Nico's portals? If his miasma was strong enough to negate a level five Nico's portals, I'd think it'd negate the level 2 MC's too.

Well I could hate him for being even a bigger derp than the MC but as far as a character... He's basically a puppet on a stick for Ella. Everything he's ever really done bad (cept the twins boobs) is her doing so I think if he could shake her off he'd be a pretty good ally. I'm only on day 59 hoping to break out of prison soon.
I mean he literally says he was aiming for MC and missed, so yeah, it was an accident.
When Rav fights MC in the dream world, he's able to stop him from shape shifting while touching him with his miasma. Plus, its also possible that Briar needed to heal Ella so she could preserve her strength. Valravn is an Indra lvl chosen, so even while nerfed he's still a huge threat.
Jared claims it was an accident. That said, the exact interaction is
which, to me, makes Jared come across as a worse person than if he intentionally killed Laurie. If he was aiming for her then at least he would be owning his actions. This is him killing someone he didn't want to kill, but feeling no remorse because he doesn't think it's possible for him to face repercussions for it. Briar talks about the Valravn fight during the S.I.N infiltration, when you ask him about him being friends with monsters. he mentions how Charlie and Zara's powers didn't work on him and that he had to use more of his power than he ever has. He then says "Even big sis needed me". So yeah, Valravn was beating tf out of them to the point a lvl 4 Ella needed healing.
Also, Charlie or one them might've mentioned it in an earlier scene as well. During the interview or with Monster Deryl before the Battle of Diamonds.
They wanted his heart for the ritual. Ella actually got lucky they sneak attacked him and made him lose his heart. If he was at full power, she would've been killed like the previous 3rd Chosen. Since his heart is what allows him to use his armor and such.
