You're right about all the LI's being girlfriend material. I don't think anyone can reasonably argue against that. They all have a genuine devotion to, and appreciation for, the MC; which is the #1 quality of any potential GF (or BF).

IMO, Alice is a cut above everyone else do to the effort that she puts in. She can't cook, but she tries. She's admittedly out of her element when it comes to relationships, so she seeks out advise and guidance from friends (Tess) and magazines. When the two of them are on night watch duty in the cave in the Monster World, she encourages the MC to download his worries and burdens onto her. That he doesn't have to carry it alone. She feels its her duty as his GF to help him carry that emotional weight.

The fact that she's a literal mob boss makes her devotion to the MC feel that much grander than the other LI's. She has all the wealth and power she can handle, yet being a good GF to the MC matters to her. Him being pleased with her matters to her. Their relationship is something that she puts a great deal of thought and effort into.

Ella and Mc are childhood friends. He promised to protect her, she gave him the means to protect her and guided him throughout the story and now even after her death. After she got her powers, she sought you out and chose you specifically.

Liz is literally fighting through her mental blocks, depression, emotionlessness, and general lack of self worth because you want to be with her and fought for her. Both Amber and Liz wanted to become superheros because they were worried your connections with them were a burdon. They trained profusely with Micheal because of it. Amber despite having literal PTSD after what Tanos did and emotional distress over losing her sister, still remembers to celebrate your birthday.

Alice will have more of these moments just because she was the first to be part of the story. And she has her own moments as you pointed out. The rest not so much, as they still aren't really part of the main group. But im sure we they will get just as much time in the sequel.

Like its fine to prefer Alice over the others, but to say she's objectively willing to put in more effort is wrong for Liz, Amber and Ella imo. And the rest of the LI's just don't have enough screentime for us to know.

I think in the future we're gonna get an Immaterial World rescue mission arc. I base this on two ideas. The first is that Syla has gone missing. And the second is that based on comments made by Black Mouth, he appears to be acting all the way from the Immaterial World. I believe that Syla has been kidnapped and brainwashed by Black Mouth, and it will be up to us to rescue him. That being said, I believe HERO will frame it differently. According to what we know, Zack has gone missing. I suspect that he will have also been taken to the Immaterial World, and we will need to rescue the both of them.

Alright, now that the set up is out of the way, I can start getting into the real tin hat conspiracy shenanigans. The next question is obvious, who can come with us to the Immaterial World? According to Syla, one of each of the Twins apparently has connection to the Immaterial, and can access the Immaterial World. Those are the First (Authority), the Fourth (Memory), the Fifth (Time), the Seventh (Dark), the Tenth (Fantasy) and the Twelfth (Creation).

I believe Shen will be an antagonist we'll need to deal with, so that knocks our Fantasy partner out to avoid doubling up. Fourth will be us, obviously. Fifth will be Claudia. Seventh will be Emily (because obviously she's gonna be infected by Valravn), Twelfth will be Deryl. And here's the kicker, the core of my conspiracy - Jake will be the last one.

"But Agamemnon," I hear you say. "Jake isn't alive in all games! Some people ate him, so he can't help in those scenarios." And this is where you are wrong. We see from Bailey and Kenny that all of the people MC eats do find themselves in the Immaterial World, and those are people who don't necessarily have strong bonds with that realm. Jake is an exceptionally strong individual, whose power is attuned with the Immaterial, and thus could reasonably still exist in some capacity. We also know from Syla that you can resist the call to fade into nothingness, and the fact we see him in the Authority dream path seems to indicate that he hasn't passed on.

So yeah. I predict an Immaterial World rescue arc in the near future, presumably after reaching Level 4. MC will be tasked with rescuing Zack and also Syla, and his teammates for the mission will be Deryl, Jake, Emily, and Claudia.

Speaking of future arcs, here's my suspicions about future arcs in no particular order: a Mars invasion arc (if we haven't evolved yet, this is where it will happen due to Level 4 removing the requirement to breathe), where we will have a boss fight against a Level 4 Tanos, will likely recruit Charlie to our side, and so on; a Langdon arc, where he possesses Alistair and it will have a whole bunch of government/public perception checks, and we might also fight Jared here, and I suspect a lot of the Tiffany vs Dexter shenanigans will finally be realized here too; a time travel arc, where MC gets sent back to the time of M-Corp, probably fights Level 4 versions of Malik and Bernie, witnesses Henri's hell week, and learns from them the requirements to Level 5. Those are all the big arc suspicions I have at the present moment.

Though it would be fun to see Valravn helping us if we manage to impress him (beating him without Brianna's help), Syla was sort of friends with him after all.

Alice is Ether and Amber is of strengtheater/great ocean descent iirc, and MC could take them to the Immaterial world. So yeah, we can drag along other party members if MC has enough skill/power/some backup reserve of energy. Quite alot of potential we have with this.

Thanks for the reference and yeah, looks like an efficiency sort of thing, best case scenario would be; MC provides some initial push and then they all can sort of maintain their existences on their own. Just gotta have trust in Weird man, idk how but we got the Father Yuren radioactive fight after the discussion in this thread so anything is possible.

Ella liked you since you were both kids. Liz rejected you because she thought you two would never work out due to both of your mental states at that time, not for your looks. He never even tried with Amber, but i don't think she even treated him differently when he became big. And the rest of the cast has never even met your human form, but they don't seem vain enough to care about your looks.

Like do people who like Alice not even read the other storylines? First everyone besides Alice are sluts. Now everyone besides Alice is into you because you have muscles.

Isn't it possible that the reason the mc doesn't pick up the breadcrumbs thrown at him is because he has a lazy side, and he's someone who doesn't have a go-getter attitude. Laziness isn't just about being a couch potato, it's a state of mind that makes a person disinclined to various activities or exertions.

Didn't the mc tell Doll Ella, when they were training transforming into a different form with every step, that he read some books about human evolution while researching his powers in the beginning, because he felt motivated that it might help keep him alive? You get that conversation when Ella asks you which led to human becoming the dominant species on their planet and you choose the body instead of intelligence option. The Mc is capable of critical thinking and deductive reasoning, but he may need to feel motivated to actually do so.

I think that instead of plot convenience, the reason the mc misses various breadcrumbs is because, unless he immediately or instinctually a piece of information is vital, or highly appeals to his interests, he will feel disinclined to put in the effort to connect the dots and come to hypothesizes and conclusions we as a reader have.

So, to summarize I believe this is a character flaw of the mc, like Deryl's arrogance, Jake's lack of confidence or Cole's stupidity.

It is 100% because of plot convenience, but so is everything. Most things are the way they are in a story because the author needs/wants them to be that way.
What matters is whether everything feels believable. If there's good in-universe explanations, like the MC being lazy and apathetic, then it's totally fine (from a technical standpoint - you personally might still be annoyed).

so . . . i'm replaying the game in another place with this new update and i don't know if i did choose the good choices, i mean right now i'm stuck with the second deal and reward choice with Tiffany and don't know what to choose and the walkthrough isn't updated since this version was uploaded a week ago, i need help what to choose or do i have to have multiple saves just to see what these choices can give me, Money and power i know pretty well, Sex too but . . . Love? i don't know if it is a joke choice with just a + point in affection or literal entering in her romance route

I've already found out just +3 affection points but i don't know if it has an extra like entering in a possible romance route, i just chose sex with her after killing Dexter . . . now i'm more excited about the v1.0 more than anything else i want to know if Ella is really going back or resurrected, maybe a rematch with Cole, Valravn, Michael and Alice return etc

Maybe it is just me, but I felt this update a little short in a certain aspect. Yuren's fight was cool and all, but I don't know, it seems like the update was just cut in the middle. Steven told us to help H.E.R.O, and we have done everything BUT that. I get that they were extremely busy but c'mon, don't just cut it when we can ACTUALLY do what we came to do in the first place, at least let me see how Nico is, Alexis, Bernhard, Henri, Nix, you know, the people we came to help.
