My theory is that he's in a time loop but can't remember it, with Lochan Deus directing events.

Evidence the MC is in a time loop:

- During the Dead End at SIN headquarters where the Eye loses to Bernhardt, the Eye will basically say he's condemned to repeat events and lose every time. Then he'll adress Ella for some reason. The Eye's final words are "See you soon."
- During the party after Alice defeats the fairy queen, if you didn't help Liz steal Deryl's serum, the MC can mention memories where he becomes a monster, the memories seem to correspond to the Dead Ends.
- Aos, the monster that looks like Syla in the fairy city, and the Judge from the Path of Truth all mention the MC has a destiny.

Evidence Deus is directing events:

- He destroys the Eye during the Diamond Massacre Dead End.
- He gave Valravn his heart back.
- He sent Clarke and Alexis to confront Ella after she let Kenny attack the party near the beginning of the game.
- He never told HERO anything about the MC.
- He's the guy in the elevator that lets the MC infiltrate HERO when he's doing that for Tiffany.

Evidence Ella may know about the time loop:

- In the first camp party in the monster world, when they're all talking about losing their virginities, if the MC lost it to Christie Little Ella will mention that she hoped the MC lost it to her before saying "Ah well, next time."

TLDR, the theory is the MC is stuck in a time loop, Ella probably knows about it, and Deus is probably a time traveler from a future where the monsters destroyed Earth.

Diamond Massacre Dead End? Considering that I've been looking for every Dead End when I was playing, this is the second one I don't know about. Can someone make a list of all Dead Ends and how to get to them. Please and thanks in advance.

That aside, I did find it off that Ella Doll said, "Ah well, next time" after that. That time loop possibly was definitely something that was on my mind before that argument many pages back made me lose my train of thought lol. That could also confirm something else. Not only is MC in the loop but Ella too. Either that or she has slight omniscience or something. Also, now that I think about it, we gave never seen Deus without his mask. Dude is kinda built like MC. I gotta agree with Rotm322 regarding Lochan Deus being MC's future self.

The only way to "save" her is to eat her when she asks you to, she will live inside the MC until he can make her a new body.

Honestly, I thought it was weird that the MC couldn't access his other selfs memories or his future ones, but this loop theory is quite interesting, do you think it could activate every time he reaches a Dead End?

When the MC is captured by SIN and is in the dreams. One of the dreams is to connect to Charlie. I forget exactly the option is but its the same set of options where you can connect to Nyx via her mark on you. You see Charlie and Oscar talking and they are clearly family.

Also Met implies it during the Sin infiltration.

Is there any way to save the slime girl Baily, let her be alive and interacable?

Yes, kind of. If you agree to her request and consumer her you will meet her again later once the Mc strengthens his Memory trait, since her consciousness is part of you.

She tells you she is glad to be inside and even hints the Mc will at some point be powerful enough to create her a new body and transfer her mind to it. But until then she seems pretty content. Playing cards with Kenny and ocassionaly visiting the DreamWorld city and exploring.

During the Diamond Massacre Dead End the Eye thinks Lochan isn't a superhuman, don't know how that's supposed to work but it's what he thinks to himself. I think Lochan is the adult version of the blindfold kid from Ella's orphans, his name is Eliot.

Yeah, I think whenever he dies it resets to him getting turned in the park, so the beginning of the game. If it could reset to earlier Deus or Zaman or whoever could do much bigger things, like stop Ella from being turned or keep Syla alive or whatever.

I would like to ask about Shopkeep, as we were talking about looping and continuity, he seems to be aware of the events that have, are and will occur, and the very specific item that will help solve them favourably. And yet, it strikes me how can he confuse MC and Charlie, it doesn't look intentional, and the only common factors I've seen are having blue hair and a funny eye, I guess his vision is entirely different to ours.

I don't think that Shopkeep has any direct knowledge of the future, so much as he's in contact with people who do. When collecting on his price for Amber and Liz's earings, he says something along the lines of him not knowing precisely what would happen to them, just that a source he considered reliable told him it would be a good investment. It's possible that was Deus, since we know that Shopkeep has done business with him, but it could be some other being that Shopkeep works with. And even if that one case was Deus, I doubt he's the only one with foreknowledge that Shopkeep makes deals with. He's got a store in the Dream World, monsters with information powers are going to be his primary clients there.

Going off the context of next update. Probably another HERO Lieutenant or maybe one of their 1st Class agents. Since we haven't seen too many of them. Reminder that MC was a 2nd Class Agent after the battle of diamonds. As well as being a Special Agent after joining HERO. Though, he'll probably be promoted in the next update.
