Hmm… so he really does have something special. If it was just about prominence in how he used his power, like some people suggested, then he should actually be weaker. That makes me think again of either some kind of inner entity or something different altogether. What’s strange to me though is that I heard someone say he also mentioned Jake and some others being on the path to becoming as strong as the Big 3, but Jake hasn’t really shown that kind of level at all…

Jake just has like one of the strongest powers, so it’ll make’s sense that he has high potential. As for Bernhardt, Weird said that he’s non-standard in a very standard way. He says Malik and Henri have things that make them “unique” compared to other superhumans. But Bernhardt supposedly doesn’t have anything like that. It seems to me weird is saying that Berny is like the absolute peak for a standard superhuman or something.

It seems like I really have been sleeping on the moon twins tbh, I know Syla mentioned not to underestimate them, but I was still sleeping.

Evo 1 at 1.7 MP/day for 2.5 months is 127.5 power, gain 2k on evo for 2,127.5.
Evo 2 at 4 MP/day for 5.5 months is 2,787.5 power, (+660) gain 20k on evo for 22,787.5. (Beats Duncan)
Evo 3 at 9.5 MP/day for 1 year is 26,255 power, (+3,467.5) gain 200k on evo for 226,255.
Evo 4 at 22.5 MP/day for ~2 years is 242,680 power, (+16,425) gain 2 million on evo for 2,242,680.
Then 60 years at Evo 5 at 52.9 MP/day is 3,401,190 power. (+1,158,510)

I don't fucking know man. I bumped everything up again so that the numbers line up, but at this point it's basically just throwing shit at a wall cause what the hell.

Indra and basically every other character in the verse barring the actual gods, Apostles, Arbiters, and Outer Twins are confirmed fodder at this point.

Also, IIRC passive growth is a feature of the higher levels too. At lower level every point of growth has to be earned. And even when you do have some passive growth you are still getting big boosts from active growth. (train, fight, get enlightment, etc)

Also from Varun we see that the MC is unusual in his ability to heal. Others need to halt growth when they are injured to ever so slowly recover from their injuries. and can even spiral ever downwards instead.

Well, all that Jake has going is being a really powerful 1st spawn, probably a Chosen candidate. If his statements are true, at level 3 he's already affecting everyone around him pasively, making it impossible to work around lv 2 or lower and even other lv 3, by that logic, once he reaches lv 5 basically nobody will be able to hurt him, except beings like the Big 3, the Chosen, the MC or similar, and he will have an army of puppets at his disposal at all times, by default.

Taking into account the relevance of twins, I think the primordial beings were two, but I ain't mathing right.

Makes me wonder how Charlie triggered Shen's evolution, then. We don't know her level, but it's definitely not level 5. It could just be that her geasa being more limited in what they can do lets them do some things more efficiently, but still, that's odd that she can do what a main trait can't.

Possibly like in the HxH system, Shen gets enough power to evolve as long as he follows a certain restriction under the threat of heavy punishment with her Willing Bow. Charlie and Shopkeep operate in deals, if you don't keep your part, you could die.

Thats probably to add a feeling of frustration to both the character and the audience, just to make the future boost feel more rewarding. Overcoming a difficulty through will and effort often do that. I personally love uderdogs.

If Weird ever decides to take a break from the main story I'd love to see a prequel beginning with Bernie, Malik and Henri as regular humans and ending with them at level 5. Seems like such an interesting time period

I’d probably relegate the feeling of the MC seeming “weak” to him almost always going *splat* whenever he’s in a fight. I think we can count it on one hand the number of times that he wasn’t torn in half with ease by his opponents.

To be fair that's in many instances a deliberate tactic by the Mc, he literaly notes in both his fight against Valravn, and his short duel against Danu, that when he faces an opponent more skilled and proficient in combat he will deliberately let himself suffer otherwise grievous injury in order to create oppenings for counter-attacks. Like against Val, he noted his own skills with blades were mere childplay compared to Valravn's swordsmanship, so he had to rely on his healing as a combat method.

Plus Ella outright advises him to have his form be brutalized before simply discarding it and moving on to the next, rather than focus on more conventional fighting. So we will likely see him being splattered a lot more often going forward.

And the second point, many people who claim the Mc is weaker than they wish, need to remember that the Mc almost always fights opponents that should otherwise be waaaaaay out of his league.

Danica had a evolution over him and way more years of experience, Klaus way more experience, Valravn far surpassed him in all aspects, Power, Skill, Experience, and he still won, Cole had over a decade of Superhuman life over him, and afterwards even a evolution, and Mc still won.

Same goes for the Twins, both Evander and his sister would have dogwalked any other level 3 Superhuman quickly, especially as they were 2v1, and given their tremendous talent, yet the Mc held his own for a good while and even managed so seriously injure the sister before Shen intervened.
